We have a team of dedicated setup creators who test and create our own car setups for the F1 games and Assetto Corsa Competizione. When browsing F1 car setups, you will see our own setups, as they will have the tag “Recommended car setup” in the title. The sim racing community can also upload their own car setups, allowing others to view, rate, and give feedback on them.
You can upload your F1 car setup by visiting our “Upload Setup” page or going to your dashboard. It’s quick and easy to create a free account. Once you have uploaded your setup, the community can view, rate, and provide feedback.
Most car setups we create ourselves use a racing wheel. Each setup has either a controller icon or a steering wheel icon, which indicates which controller method was used. Generally, this indicates how the car setup is designed, but most setups can be used with any input method.
We have at least a few custom car setups for every track in the F1 game. We work hard to ensure these setups are available on day 1 of a new F1 game release and will be tweaked and adjusted throughout the year. By browsing the setups for each F1 circuit, you will find a range of community-created car setups and our official car setups. Each setup is tailored for specific conditions and race sessions, from races to time trials, dry weather to wet, and these are all detailed on each car setup.
