F1 25 Jeddah Corniche Circuit Setup & Track Guide
The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is one of the fastest and most intense tracks on the Formula 1 calendar. It’s a high-speed street circuit with minimal run-off, blind corners, and rapid direction changes. To be fast here, you need precision, confidence, and sharp reactions — mistakes are brutally punished.
Sector 1: Turns 1–6
✅ Turn 1–2 (First Chicane)
- Brake just after the 100m board; turn in aggressively for the left-right.
- Cut as much curb as possible, but avoid invalidating the lap.
- Quick flick right for Turn 2 — be patient on throttle to avoid snapping the rear.
✅ Turn 3–6 (High-Speed Sweepers)
- After exiting Turn 2, you’re flat through Turns 3–4.
- Turn 6 is a flat-out kink, but car placement matters; hug the left to set up the next chicane.
Sector 2: Turns 7–16
✅ Turns 7–8–9 (Technical Chicane)
- Big braking zone; brake hard and shift down fast.
- Use the inside curb but avoid unsettling the car.
- Smooth throttle on exit — traction matters here.
✅ Turns 10–13 (Super Fast Sweepers)
- This section is Jeddah’s signature: flat or near-flat, ultra-fast left-right-left-right.
- Commitment is everything; lift only slightly if the car’s understeering.
- Precision is key — walls are very close, and a mistake here usually ends your lap.
✅ Turns 14–16 (Mid-Speed Section)
- Brake late and turn in confidently.
- Watch for oversteer on exit; smooth throttle pickup is critical.
Sector 3: Turns 17–27
✅ Turn 17–22 (Flowing Section)
- Series of medium-speed bends; use minimal steering input to maintain speed.
- Stay focused — these corners come rapidly, and walls leave no room for error.
✅ Turns 23–25 (High-Speed Left-Right-Left)
- One of the most thrilling sections — near flat, but your line is critical.
- Carrying momentum here gives a huge advantage onto the back section.
✅ Turn 27 (Final Hairpin)
- Hard braking at the 100m board.
- Focus entirely on exit; this leads onto the long DRS straight.
- Don’t overslow — better to slightly under-rotate and carry speed onto the main straight.
Car Setup Tips
- Wings: Medium to low downforce — straight-line speed is critical, but you still need stability in the fast sweepers.
- Suspension: Soft enough to handle the curbs but stiff enough to stay sharp in direction changes.
- Brakes: Medium pressure; the track has some heavy braking zones but also lots of gentle lifts.
- Differential: Open on entry to help rotation in tight corners; slightly more locked on exit for traction.
- Ride Height: Low — the track is smooth and rewards aero.
Driving Tips
✅ Maximize corner exits: Particularly out of Turn 27 — the main straight is where you gain or lose tenths.
✅ Be brave in high-speed sections: Jeddah rewards drivers who trust the car through the blind, fast sweepers.
✅ Watch tire temps: Rear tires can overheat if you’re too aggressive on traction zones.
✅ ERS management: Save energy for the DRS zones — don’t waste it in the medium-speed sections.
