F1 25 Suzuka International Racing Course Setup & Track Guide
Suzuka is one of the most technical and rewarding circuits in F1 25 — it demands precision, rhythm, and a car setup that balances sharp front-end grip with rear stability. Let’s break it down.
Sector 1: The Esses & Dunlop
✅ Turn 1–2
- Approach fast in 7th gear, lift slightly, and brake gently into Turn 1.
- Use 4th gear through Turn 2; trail brake to rotate the car.
- Focus on positioning — you want to be perfectly placed for the S-curves.
✅ Turns 3–7 (S-curves / Esses)
- A rhythmic sequence: lift–turn–lift–turn, maintaining minimum braking.
- Use 4th or 5th gear; smooth steering inputs.
- Don’t overcommit early — a mistake here ruins the whole sector.
✅ Turn 8 (Dunlop curve)
- Full throttle if setup allows; balance the car with tiny steering corrections.
- Avoid touching the outside curb — it’s easy to spin here.
Sector 2: Degners & Hairpin
✅ Turns 9–10 (Degner 1 & 2)
- Degner 1: Brake slightly before turn-in, use 5th gear, short-shift to stay stable.
- Degner 2: Heavy brake just before the curb, down to 3rd gear.
- Watch for the inside curb — too much can throw you off into the gravel.
✅ Turn 11 (Hairpin)
- Brake hard at the 100m board, down to 2nd gear.
- Late apex for best traction on exit.
- Be patient on throttle — easy to spin the rear here.
Sector 3: Spoon, 130R, Casio Triangle
✅ Turns 13–14 (Spoon curve)
- Brake just before the first apex, down to 4th gear.
- Smooth lift + brake into the second part.
- Focus on maximizing exit speed for the long run down to 130R.
✅ Turn 15 (130R)
- Flat out in 7th or 8th gear (depending on setup).
- Slight lift if needed in race trim or on heavy fuel.
- Trust the downforce but don’t touch the outside curb on exit.
✅ Turns 16–18 (Casio Triangle chicane)
- Heavy brake at the 100m board, down to 2nd or 3rd gear.
- Jump the curbs aggressively.
- Good exit is critical — this leads to the main straight.
Car Setup Tips
- Wings: Medium–high downforce for S-curves; too low and you’ll understeer.
- Differential: Slightly open on-throttle for smooth traction out of hairpin and Spoon.
- Suspension: Soft front helps absorb curbs, stiff rear keeps rotation sharp.
- Brakes: Forward bias (around 58%) to control downhill braking zones.
Driving Tips
✅ Be smooth — Suzuka rewards rhythm, not aggression.
✅ Don’t overdrive the S-curves; focus on exit speed, not max entry.
✅ Use ERS and DRS mainly on the main straight; save battery if needed for overtakes after Spoon.
✅ Watch tire temps — the long corners punish worn rubber.
