F1 25 Las Vegas Setup & Track Guide
The Las Vegas circuit is a unique challenge in F1 25: long straights, heavy braking zones, and slippery low-grip sections demand a car that’s fast in a straight line but stable enough to survive the tricky corners. You need to balance top speed with confidence on the brakes and good traction.
Sector 1: Technical Start
✅ Turns 1–3 (Opening Complex)
- Hard braking into Turn 1 (100m board), down to 2nd gear.
- Short squirt of throttle before Turn 2; stay tight to avoid running wide.
- Turn 3 is slow and awkward — focus on early throttle application, but don’t overdo it or you’ll understeer into the wall.
✅ Turns 4–5 (Short Chicane)
- Quick change of direction; keep it clean, no need to overpush.
- Use 3rd gear and clip the inside curbs lightly — they can unsettle the car.
Sector 2: High-Speed Straights & Big Brakes
✅ Turn 6 (Left Sweeper)
- Build speed on the straight, take this left-hand kink flat out.
✅ Turn 7 (Heavy Braking)
- Brake HARD at the 100m board, down to 2nd or 3rd gear.
- Wide entry, tight apex — maximize exit speed for the next long straight.
- Watch for lockups here, especially if running lower brake pressure.
✅ Long Back Straight
- Full throttle, DRS open, ERS deploy if needed.
- This is a key overtaking zone — prepare for slipstream battles.
Sector 3: Final Complex
✅ Turn 12 (Sharp Left)
- After the massive straight, brake early; it’s easy to miss the braking point here.
- Down to 3rd gear, be careful on throttle as the rear can snap.
✅ Turns 13–14 (Fast Kinks)
- Flat out or small lift, depending on fuel and setup.
- Precision matters — walls are close, and you can’t afford mistakes.
✅ Turns 15–16 (Final Hairpin + Exit)
- Heavy braking again, down to 2nd gear.
- Patience! Don’t rush the throttle — you’ll just spin or understeer wide.
- Focus on clean exit speed to blast down the pit straight.
Car Setup Tips
- Wings: Low–medium downforce; prioritize straight-line speed but don’t make the car unmanageable in slow corners.
- Differential: More open on-throttle to help control traction out of the hairpins.
- Suspension: Softer for bumps and curbs, especially on a street circuit.
- Brakes: Medium–high pressure, rearward bias helps prevent front lockups into heavy braking zones.
- Tyres: Manage overheating carefully; the stop-start nature can punish the rears.
Driving Tips
✅ Be smooth under braking — late but controlled stops are your best chance to make up time.
✅ Maximize exits onto long straights — your lap time depends on it.
✅ Use slipstream and DRS wisely, especially on the back straight for overtakes.
✅ Save ERS for the straights or critical passes — don’t waste it on short bursts.
