F1 25 Circuit de Monaco Setup & Track Guide
Monaco is all about precision — the walls are close, the track is narrow, and mistakes are brutally punished. To be fast here, you need maximum downforce, soft suspension for the bumps, and a calm, controlled driving style. Raw aggression will only send you into the barriers.
Sector 1: Saint Devote to Casino Square
✅ Turn 1 (Saint Devote)
- Brake just before the 100m board.
- It’s easy to lock up the fronts; be gentle and prioritize the exit — you need a clean run up the hill.
- Slight lift through the climb to Beau Rivage; stay planted.
✅ Turns 3–4 (Massenet & Casino)
- This is a fast, flowing left-hander into a tricky right.
- Stay tight, trust the downforce, and avoid running wide at Casino where the wall juts out.
Sector 2: Mirabeau, Hairpin, and Portier
✅ Turns 5–6 (Mirabeau & Grand Hotel Hairpin)
- Brake early for Mirabeau; don’t overcommit.
- For the Hairpin, go to full lock and crawl around in 1st gear — smooth throttle and patience are key.
✅ Turns 7–8 (Portier)
- Important to get a clean exit here, as it leads to the tunnel.
- Stay off the outside wall on exit.
Sector 3: Tunnel, Chicane, and Swimming Pool
✅ Tunnel & Chicane (Turns 9–10)
- Flat through the tunnel (watch your line), then brake hard for the Nouvelle Chicane.
- Stay tight, don’t cut too much (track limits), and get on power early.
✅ Turns 11–14 (Tabac & Swimming Pool)
- High-speed left at Tabac — slightly lift, full commitment.
- Into Swimming Pool, brake just enough to get the car rotated; use the curbs, but don’t overattack, or you’ll clip the barriers.
✅ Turns 15–19 (Rascasse & Antony Noghes)
- Brake early into Rascasse, stay tight, and balance throttle carefully.
- Final corner (Antony Noghes) is crucial — get a clean exit to maximize speed onto the main straight.
Car Setup Tips
- Wings: Maximum downforce (highest settings) — top speed doesn’t matter; cornering grip is everything.
- Suspension: Soft to handle bumps and curbs.
- Differential: Open on throttle to prevent wheelspin on slow exits.
- Brakes: High pressure, but be gentle on inputs to avoid lockups.
- Ride Height: Slightly raised to avoid bottoming on bumps.
Driving Tips
✅ Precision > aggression: You won’t gain time by pushing too hard; be smooth and consistent.
✅ Stay focused: Monaco punishes even the smallest lapse in concentration.
✅ Qualifying is king: Overtaking is almost impossible, so one-lap pace matters most.
✅ Use ERS carefully: Deploy in key zones like the run out of Portier and out of Antony Noghes.
✅ Practice narrow lines: Get comfortable brushing the barriers without hitting them.
