Car Setup & Track Guide
F1 25 Losail International Circuit Setup & Track Guide
The Lusail International Circuit is a modern, high-speed track that feels like a blend of Silverstone and Bahrain. It’s wide, flowing, and dominated by medium- to high-speed corners. To be fast here, you need confidence, aerodynamic grip, and sharp consistency — it’s easy to overdrive and ruin your tires.
Sector 1: Turns 1–6
✅ Turn 1
- Brake at the 100m board; take a late apex to set up for Turn 2.
- Stay tight but don’t over-slow — you need to flow into the next section.
✅ Turns 2–3
- Quick change of direction; Turn 2 is flat, but you need to position the car perfectly for Turn 3.
- Small lift or slight brake for Turn 3, depending on car balance.
✅ Turns 4–5–6
- Fast left-right-left sweepers.
- Precision is key: aim to stay as flat as possible, but don’t compromise your line.
- Good balance and confident steering inputs will help you carry momentum.
Sector 2: Turns 7–10
✅ Turn 7
- Heavy braking zone; brake hard and late.
- Prioritize exit speed; this leads into another medium-speed sequence.
✅ Turns 8–9–10
- Fast and flowing; minimal braking, maybe just a lift or light tap.
- Keep the car balanced — overdriving will cost you here.
Sector 3: Turns 11–16
✅ Turn 11 (Big Hairpin)
- Hard braking again; trail brake into the apex, but avoid running wide on exit.
- Essential to get a clean run out because the next section is full-throttle.
✅ Turns 12–13–14 (Fast Right-Handers)
- One of the fastest sections on the track — it’s all about commitment.
- Ideally flat, but be ready to modulate if you feel understeer.
- Use the track width and stay smooth on inputs.
✅ Turn 15
- Slight lift, depending on balance; again, it’s a momentum corner.
✅ Turn 16 (Final Corner)
- Crucial exit onto the long main straight.
- Brake late, but don’t overslow.
- Focus on early throttle to maximize top speed for the straight and DRS zone.
Car Setup Tips
- Wings: Medium downforce — you need front-end bite but can’t afford too much drag on the straights.
- Suspension: Slightly stiffer to handle the many direction changes.
- Brakes: Medium to high pressure; big stops at Turns 1, 7, and 11 demand good stopping power.
- Differential: Open on entry for rotation, closed slightly on exit to control wheelspin.
- Ride Height: Low, as the track is smooth and rewards aero efficiency.
Driving Tips
✅ Stay smooth: The track’s flowing nature punishes erratic inputs.
✅ Optimize exits: Particularly from Turn 16 — that straight is long and punishes bad exits.
✅ ERS strategy: Deploy mainly down the pit straight and between Turns 10–11; conserve elsewhere.
✅ Tire management: Front-left tire wear is high here due to long right-handers — avoid aggressive steering.
