Black Friday 2025 is almost upon us, with the fast approaching November 28th sale approaching. This means sim racing hardware and products will soon be available at a discounted price.

And probably even sooner than the 28th, as many brands start their sales a week or two early. GT Omega for example have already started their Black Friday sale… in October!

While it isn’t guaranteed that the products you are looking for will be discounted, it is certainly worth keeping an eye on Black Friday deals.

In this Black Friday buyer’s guide, I’m going to look at some of the most popular sim racing products in 2025, along with which products could be discounted. With sim racing hardware often costing hundreds, and even thousands, a big Black Friday discount can save you a lot of money!

Which products should I keep an eye on this Black Friday?

Below is an overview of the sim racing products that we recommend keeping an eye on this Black Friday sale. These products could see large discounts, and are among the best hardware to add to your sim racing setup.

Sim Racing Wheel Deals: The Heart of Your Setup

Let’s start with the most critical component of any sim racing setup: your racing wheel or wheel base. This is responsible for portraying every bump, every slide, and every bit of track surface texture via the wheel’s force feedback.

Throughout 2025, the racing wheel market has grown massively, with more choice than ever before. Brands such as Logitech has grown their racing wheel lineup with the introduction of the Logitech RS50 direct drive wheel. Asetek has added its own budget-friendly racing wheel. And new brands such as Thermaltake have entered the sim racing space.

Racing wheels can range from budget-friendly gear-driven wheels, through to high-end direct drive wheel bases that wouldn’t look out of place in a Formula 1 team’s own simulator!

Which racing wheels to shop for during Black Friday

This Black Friday, I’d be looking at brands with older racing wheels. With so many new wheel options on the market, it is unlikely we’d see these brand new wheels discounted heavily. That rules out Asetek’s Initium racing wheel, and Logitech’s RS50.

Logitech G Pro Wheel: Best mid-range wheel likely to be on sale

The Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel has always been an incredibly good performing wheel since its release, and for good reason. This is Logitech’s first proper attempt at a direct drive racing wheel, and was even endorsed by F1 driver Lando Norris.

The direct drive motor provides incredibly smooth, high-torque feedback capable of up to 11Nm of peak torque. This puts it firmly in the mid-range category. The only thing holding this wheel base back was its initial price. At launch, it cost around £/$999 for the wheel alone. This price for a mid-range wheel isn’t as attractive as the wheel’s performance.

During Black Friday, I’d expect this to drop considerably in the sale, down from its usually high price tag. With the introduction of the Logitech RS50, the G Pro has become a slightly less attractive option, so a good discount could help it sell.

Logitech G923: Best budget friendly wheel

For those working with a tighter budget, the Logitech G923 remains the gold standard for entry-level racing wheels. It’s a plug-and-play racing wheel that works perfectly with PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, depending on which version you buy.

The TrueForce force feedback system (which also features in the more expensive G Pro wheel) might not match direct drive precision or power, but it does add a lot of extra immersion. The G923 is a racing wheel which is always on sale throughout the year.

During previous Black Friday events, we’ve seen this drop as low as £200 or $200, and I’d expect similar deals this year. For this price, you’re getting an all-in-one sim racing solution, including a full three-pedal set. If you’re just getting started, this is a fantastic option.

Simucube 2 Pro: Biggest premium racing wheel discounts

Some of the biggest savings can be had when shopping the Black Friday sale for premium sim racing products. While these carry the biggest price tags, they can also see the biggest price reduction.

This year, there is one product in particular to keep an eye on, and that is the Simucube 2 wheel base. Simucube has just revealed its Simucube 3 wheel base, which replaces the second generation lineup.

This means, that the Simucube 2 Sport and Pro wheel bases are set to be discontinued in the near future. With everyone scrambling to get their hands on a Simucube 3 wheel base, Simucube may discount the older second generation wheel to clear its stock.

Fanatec GT DD Pro: Fanatec wheels to keep an eye on

With Fanatec remaining one of the most popular sim racing brands, its worth asking whether any Fanatec racing wheels will be discounted for Black Friday. Now, the Fanatec GT DD Pro is one of the German sim racing brand’s oldest wheels, but still deserves serious consideration.

This mid-range direct drive wheel base has maintained its reputation as one of the most capable systems since launch, and it’s directly compatible with PlayStation 5 and PC. It delivers force feedback that is more than capable at 8Nm, and does this without taking up your entire desk thanks to its compact size.

Previous Black Friday sales have seen Fanatec offer bundle deals that include the wheel base, rim, and pedals for around £500-700, which is pretty great value for a complete direct drive system. Especially from Fanatec, who are known for their slightly premium price tag.

Keep an eye on our Fanatec Black Friday deal tracker during November, as their deals typically go live a week or so before the main Black Friday rush.

MOZA R5: MOZA Racing wheels to watch for during Black Friday

The MOZA Racing lineup has also been growing in 2025, and they now offer direct drive wheels at a variety of price points. Their modular ecosystem means you can start with a basic setup and upgrade individual components over time.

In 2025, the R21 Ultra and R25 Ultra are the two big headline additions. However, it is highly unlikely that either of these wheels will be included in the 2025 Black Friday sale. Instead, the MOZA R5 bundle, which includes the wheel base, steering wheel, and pedals, is the MOZA product I’d be keeping an eye out for.

It is a few years old, and regularly drops below £400 or $400 during MOZA sales. That’s direct drive territory for less money than some budget-focused gear-driven wheels cost.

Virtual Reality: The Game-Changing Experience

If you haven’t tried sim racing in VR, you’re missing out on something pretty impressive. I have to admit, I wasn’t keen on virtual reality sim racing when I first tried it years ago with a Meta Quest. I felt queasy, and the image quality was a big downgrade to my 1440p gaming monitor.

However, with improvements and new VR headsets being released, the overall immersion and visual fidelity has improved a lot. VR sim racing gives you a sense of presence, with the ability to look into corners naturally. And the awareness of cars around you is something that a traditional monitor simply cannot replicate. VR takes you from looking at a screen to feeling like you’re actually in the cockpit.

Pimax Crystal Super: Next level VR gaming

For those who want the absolute best visual experience, the Pimax Crystal Super is without a doubt one of the best virtual reality headsets you can buy in 2025. It has QLED panels, along with incredible brightness and 29 million pixels that result in a 50-57 PPD.

These specs are really reserved for the very best headsets. Yes, you will need a fairly decent gaming PC to run a Pimax Crystal Super, with an RTX 3070 or better. However, if you have that capability, you simply cannot match the visual fidelity on offer. The headset also comes with two controllers, six integrated cameras that tracks your controllers natively, and allow for pass-through modes.

Pimax already has a few ways for you to fund the purchase of a Pimax Crystal Super, with various payment plans. However, during Black Friday sales, we do expect to see a nice reduction in price. There is no denying that a Crystal Super will still cost you a large chunk of change, but for this level of quality, it’s a hard package to beat.

Meta Quest 3: The biggest bang for your buck

The Meta Quest 3, while unable to compete in performance with the Pimax Crystal Super, has become the go-to recommended virtual reality headset for sim racers in 2025, mainly because of its accessibility and price. The improved resolution over the Quest 2, combined with better lenses and comfort, makes it the sweet spot for most people.

Its capability to act as a stand alone VR headset is nice for those who want to also use it away from the sim rig. But when connected to your PC, it delivers a fantastic sim racing experience. Last year’s Black Friday saw the Quest 3 drop to around £400/0 for the base model, and I’d expect similar or better deals this year, possibly with game bundles thrown in.

PSVR2: Native PlayStation VR

The PSVR2 has surprised many with its quality for sim racing on PlayStation 5. If you’re a console racer, this is your VR option, and Black Friday usually sees it drop to around $400-450. The OLED displays provide excellent contrast and color, though the PC compatibility is still limited.

Sim Racing Pedals: Where Lap Time Is Won and Lost

Sim racing pedals may not be as flashy as racing wheels, but they matter more than you think. A great wheel with terrible pedals will hold you back more than an average wheel with excellent sim racing pedals. The ability to modulate brake pressure and throttle input with precision is absolutely crucial for competitive lap times.

That is why this Black Friday, if you are going to upgrade one area of your sim racing setup, I’d highly recommend it be your pedals. Unless you already have a killer set of load cell, hydraulic or active pedals already!

Keep an eye on load cell pedal deals

Fanatec’s CSL Pedals with the optional load-cell brake kit represent an excellent option to upgrade to at a reasonable price. The base pedals are solid, but adding that load-cell brake takes them into professional territory.

The modular design means you can start with the basic two-pedal set, and upgrade later, though I’d recommend going straight for the load-cell option if your budget allows. Deals during Black Friday can shave a little bit of money off, but these pedals are relatively affordable anyone compared to more professional pedal sets.

Professional sim racing pedals could get a big discount

For those really looking to splash out, the Asetek Invicta pedals are the industry standard for serious sim racers. Yes, they’re expensive even on sale, but the adjustability and build quality are second to none.

These are pedals you’ll never need to upgrade again. Watch for Black Friday discounts that could lower the cost by a couple of hundred pounds or dollars.

Sim Racing Setups Black Friday Deals Tracker 2025

Amazon

Amazon can be your one-stop shop for most sim racing hardware. Their early Black Friday deals typically start in early November, with new deals dropping throughout the month.

The Lightning Deals section is worth checking—these time-limited offers can provide deeper discounts than standard Black Friday pricing, but they sell out fast. Set up deal alerts for specific items you’re targeting, and consider keeping items in your cart so you can quickly check out when prices drop.

Manufacturer websites

Knowing when brands will release their deals is the trickiest part of knowing when to look on manufacturer websites. Fanatec, Thrustmaster, and Logitech all run significant Black Friday promotions directly through their sites, and announce them on social channels.

The advantage here is bundle deals that you won’t find at retailers—things like free shipping, extra accessories, or exclusive color options. Sign up for their newsletters in early November to get advance notice of deals.
