Asetek Sim Sports may be a relatively new sim racing company, despite being experts in liquid cooling hardware for the past 20 years. However, they made a big splash with the launch of their new direct drive wheel bases and the Forte Formula Wheel.
We’ve been lucky enough to spend some hands-on time with the Forte lineup of sim racing products. This includes the Asetek Forte wheel base which is an 18Nm direct drive wheel. We’ve been using the Forte Formula wheel with this wheel base, and we have produced a review of this new sim racing wheel.

What is the Asetek Forte Formula Wheel
The Forte Formula Wheel is the first sim racing steering wheel that Asetek has launched. It is part of the Forte product range which is Asetek’s mid-range product lineup.
The La Prima range is the budget product range featuring cheaper products that sit lower on the overall performance scale. The Invicta range is the company’s high-end, high-performance product range. And the Forte range sits in the middle.
The Forte steering wheel works with all of these wheel bases, and isn’t exclusive for use with the Forte wheel base. You can use it with the La Prima and Invicta wheel bases as they all utilise the same Asetek quick release.
