Asetek’s sim racing hardware lineup continues to grow. Last year, they announced their Invicta Formula wheel, offering an incredibly high quality steering wheel with a screen for the first time.
Now, the Danish sim racing brand is adding the screen to the Forte wheel with the new Forte Formula Pro wheel. This steering wheel is available to pre-order, with up to a 15% discount.
Hot off the back of the Invicta Formula wheel, this Forte Formula Pro wheel offers a lot of the same design features and characteristics. It is worth noting that the overall layout and design is lifted straight from the Invicta wheel, and isn’t similar to the older Forte wheel.
This means that you have all the same input placement from the Invicta wheel, including 10 front facing push buttons, 3 encoders, 6 thumb encoders, and the large 4.3 inch touchscreen.
One area where the premium Invicta steering wheel excelled was in its customisation, as you could customise almost every aspect of the wheel. The Forte Formula Pro doesn’t feature as much customisation. However, you can still update the look of the wheel with different colour kits, shifters and handles.
While this Forte Formula Pro wheel looks very similar to the premium Invicta wheel, it doesn’t have the incredibly high price tag to match. The Invicta wheel started from €/49.99. This Forte Formula Pro wheel starts from just €629 or 9.

The Forte Formula Pro offers a very similar proposition to the Invicta wheel at almost half the price. Below is a quick comparison between the two wheels.

There is no doubt that the Forte Formula Pro wheel looks very similar to the much more premium Invicta wheel. The overall layout and core design is identical, however, the main difference comes in the form of materials and customisation.
The more premium Invicta wheel uses a solid block of aluminium with a carbon fibre faceplate as the base of the wheel. This Forte Formula Pro uses a custom forged carbon texture glass fibre construction. This won’t quite offer the same rigidity or premium feel as the Invicta wheel, but it will look just as nice with the forged carbon texture.
Each Invicta steering wheel is hand built to your exact specifications. This allows you to customise every part of the wheel including the faceplate material, handles, colours of every input and the shifters.
The Forte Formula Pro doesn’t feature this much customisation. By default, this wheel is a pre-configured wheel with no customisation on the product page itself. This doesn’t mean you can’t customise it though.
You can mix and match any handles, as well as various different colour kits that let you change the colour of the inputs. This customisation is all done by purchasing add-on kits instead of via a 3D customiser like with the Invicta wheel.
The Asetek Forte Formula Pro wheel is expected to be shipping by the 14th August 2025. Pre-orders are open from today, giving you a 3 month window to pre-order and make use of the early bird discounts available.
A lot of the price difference between the Asetek Forte Formula Pro and Invicta wheels comes down to the construction and customisation. The Forte wheel doesn’t use the same premium materials, and doesn’t offer as much customisation as the Invicta wheel.
