Best Le Mans Ultimate Simucube Force Feedback Settings

Simucube produces some of the best high-end direct drive wheels available. With Le Mans Ultimate being a simulation-focused racer, Simucube wheels pair perfectly with it. Despite this, Simucube wheels can be tricky to configure correctly, especially in newer sims like LMU.
In this guide, I’m going to share our recommended Simucube wheel settings for Le Mans Ultimate. I’ll include both in-game settings, as well as recommended Tuner/True Drive settings for all three Simucube wheels, the Sport, Pro and Ultimate.
How to set up a Simucube racing wheel in Le Mans Ultimate
Setting up a Simucube wheel in Le Mans Ultimate is a fairly quick process. You simply need to ensure your wheel is connected to your PC and updated with the latest firmware. This is important as Le Mans Ultimate recently released its version 1.0, meaning newer firmware can drastically improve the force feedback.

You will need to run through the button mapping when first starting Le Mans Ultimate, and map all inputs to your steering wheel and pedals.
Simucube LMU wheel settings
The recommended settings below are to be entered in the Le Mans Ultimate force feedback settings menu. I’ve included three sets of settings, one for each Simucube wheel base.

Simucube Tuner / True Drive settings
Below are the settings that we’d recommend using in the Simucube software. Both True Drive and Tuner apps can be used, however, we recommend Tuner as its newer, and allows you to update your Simucube wheel base to a newer firmware version. Tuner also introduces settings menus for Simucube pedals as well, allowing you to configure all of your devices in one place.

Which Simucube wheel is best for Le Mans Ultimate?
Currently Simucube offers two wheels, the Sport and Pro. The Ultimate model has been discontinued and isn’t currently available from Simucube directly, although some resellers may still have stock available.
Both the Simucube 2 Sport and Pro are fantastic high-end wheel bases. They both outperform many competitors, and you wouldn’t be disappointed with either wheel. I personally use a Simucube 2 Pro, as it is nice to have the extra headroom in performance thanks to the 25Nm peak torque available from the Pro wheel.

Are the presets available for Simucube wheels in Le Mans Ultimate?
There aren’t any in-game pre-saved presets for Simucube wheels in LMU, however, you can download a range of presets via Paddock in the Simucube Tuner software.
Do Simucube ActivePedals work in Le Mans Ultimate?
You can use Simucube ActivePedals in Le Mans Ultimate. To get the forces working, you need to copy the ActivePedal plugin file from the Simucube Tuner menu to the LMU game folder.
