Car Setup Terms & Conditions
When you purchase any car setup bundle from Sim Racing Setups, you agree to the following terms and conditions laid out on this page.
Payments
If your payment fails, it means that your order has not completed, and we have received no funds. In this scenario, your payment provider will return your payment to your original payment method.
Refund Policy
Due to our products being supplied digitally, and access granted automatically once you have purchased them, we cannot offer a refund, in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
This is due to you being able to access, view or download our setups immediately after the order is complete. We do have free setups available to try in each product category, which we’d recommend trying before buying a complete setup pack.
If you have made a purchase by mistake, and have not downloaded any files or viewed any content that is included with your purchase, we will review your refund on a case-by-case basis.
Fees, prices and changes
We may update our prices or fees at any time in accordance to these terms and conditions under applicable law. This includes;
- Increasing or changing product or subscription pricing
- Changing fees for products or features that you have previously purchased
- Removing or updating features that were previously included in the fees.
If you do not agree with any changes, we recommend cancelling your subscription renewal.
Car Setup Subscription
As a customer of our car setup subscription, you will receive the following after signing up as a setup subscriber on Sim Racing Setups;
- Access to 5 setup bundle downloads per month, across all of our first-party car setup bundles, across iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione and Automobilista 2. (Does not include setups sold via our platform by third party sellers)
- This restriction is for complete setup bundle downloads.
- In Assetto Corsa Competizione, setup bundles include setups for a single car, at every track in the game.
- In iRacing, setup bundles include tracks for the current season, up to the current week.
- In Automobilista 2, setup bundles include setups for a single car at multiple tracks (track list is included on the setup bundle product page).
- In F1 25, you have unlimited access to all of our F1 25 Pro car setups and strategies, with zero download restrictions.
Automatic renewal
By signing up to our setup subscription, your subscription will be automatically set to renewal annually automatically. Renewal payments will be taken automatically from the original payment method. You can cancel your renewal at any time from your dashboard to prevent your subscription from auto renewing after 12 months.
Download limits
- We have a limit of 5 complete setup bundle downloads per month for iRacing, ACC and AMS2 setup bundles.
- Re-downloading the same setup bundle does count towards your monthly limit.
- The download limit resets on the first day of every month.
- These limits do not apply to F1 25 Pro setups, and you have unlimited access to these.
Individual Car Setup Bundles
As a customer of our individual car setup bundles, you will receive the following after purchasing a premium car setup bundle from Sim Racing Setups;
- 12 months unlimited access to the car setup bundle that the customer ordered.
- Free access to any updates to the purchased car setup, accessible from the customer’s dashboard.
Exceptions to the above include;
- If the customer did not create an account during checkout or does not have an account, the customer cannot access setup updates.
- As a guest customer, you can request to add your order to your account free of charge, and we will allocate the setups to your account.
Car setup expiration date
Our premium car setup bundles for the EA Sports F1 games, Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, and Automobilista 2, all include future updates. We often update our car setups to better reflect the car’s in-game performance, following in-game updates and/or seasonal balance of performance updates.
Within 12 months from the date of purchase, you will be able to download your purchased car setup an unlimited amount of times. After 365 days, your car setup bundle will expire, and therefore the customer will not be able to download the setups anymore.
If the customer would like to access the car setups after 12 months from the original purchase date, they should purchase the setup bundle again to reactivate another 12 month unlimited access period.
The reason our car setup bundles expire after 12 months is that during this time, the customer will have had access to updates to their product for free. Generally, game developers update their games throughout the year, meaning we have to update our car setups to accommodate in-game changes. These can include minor physics updates, new content or major game updates.
Within 12 months of a customer’s setup purchase, any updates such as the ones listed above are included for free.
Car setup support
We do offer support after you purchase a car setup product from us. You can access this support by visiting our product support page which can be found here. Support can come in the form of email advice and/or support directly from the setup creators via Discord.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing the website at https://simracingsetup.com/, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
Intellectual property & usage rights
All intellectual property rights in regard to the products and services on simracingsetup.com belong to Sim Racing Setups. Intellectual property refers to any patent, copyright, design, imagery, car setup and product created by Sim Racing Setups or its employees. This includes all car setups that are created by us and either offered for free or as a premium product.
Permission is granted to temporarily view or download one copy of the materials or car setups on SimRacingSetups’ website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. Car setup downloads must be stored on a personal device and must not be shared or distributed. This is the grant of a licence, not a transfer of title, and under this usage licence you may not:
- modify or copy the materials or car setups.
- distribute the materials or car setups to any third party.
- use the materials or car setups for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial).
- attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software, materials or car setups contained on SimRacingSetups’ website.
- remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials.
- transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server.
- the customer is not allowed to offer similar products or services, or be in direct or indirect competition with Sim Racing Setups.
This licence shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by SimRacingSetups at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this licence, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
If any of the terms and restrictions above are breached, the customer will immediately owe Sim Racing Setups a payable fine of £5,000, plus an additional £1,000 fine for each day the breach continues past its original discovery.
Modification of these terms and conditions
SimRacingSetups may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
