F1 25 Bahrain International Circuit Setup & Track Guide

The Bahrain Grand Prix at the Bahrain International Circuit is one of the most exciting and technically demanding races in F1 25. Featuring a mix of long straights, heavy braking zones, and tricky traction zones, this track challenges both newcomers and experienced sim racers.

Bahrain track guide for F1 25

Follow our tips below to master Bahrain in F1 25. Below, I break down every corner, and explain how to improve your lap times at this iconic desert circuit.

Turn 1 – Heavy Braking Zone

Approach at full speed, brake hard at around 100m, and shift down to second gear. Rotate the car smoothly, avoid locking up, and prepare for the uphill Turn 2 exit.

Turn 2

Short kink to the left; stay smooth on throttle to avoid wheelspin. Use short shifting to maintain rear traction.

Turn 3

Flat-out right-hand sweep. Focus on carrying maximum speed onto the straight.

Turn 4

Brake at 100m, downshift to third gear. Hug the inside curb, but avoid riding it aggressively as it can unsettle the car. Watch the exit as you apply power to prevent rear traction loss.

Turns 5-6-7 (High-Speed Sweepers)

Take these flat out in qualifying or with light fuel, but be ready to lift slightly in race trim. Maintain a clean line to set up Turn 8.

Turn 8 – Hairpin

Heavy braking into second gear. Hug the inside, short shift on exit to control traction.

Turns 9-10 – Trickiest Braking Zone

Brake while turning left – one of the hardest sections in F1 25. Be gentle on the brake pedal to avoid front lock-ups, and focus on smooth steering input.

Turn 11

Climb the hill, brake at 75m, downshift to fourth gear, and smoothly carry speed into the sweeping right.

Turn 12

Flat or near-flat right-hander; watch out for understeer mid-corner.

Turn 13

Brake at 50m, downshift to third gear. Late apex and good exit are key to maximizing speed down the long back straight.

Turn 14-15 (Final Corner)

Brake at around 100m, downshift to second gear. Focus on a clean exit as this feeds onto the main straight. Avoid spinning up the rear tires here.

How to create the perfect Bahrain car setup

Check out our car setup tips below to truly optimise your car for this tricky Bahrain circuit in F1 25.

Setup AreaRecommended Settings
AerodynamicsA higher aerodynamic setup will allow for faster overall lap times, with a bias towards the rear wing.
TransmissionLower off throttle differential helps rotation into corners, and higher on throttle differential improves drive out of faster corners.
SuspensionAn aggressive suspension setup with a high rake will allow for better rotation into the slower corners such as turn 10.
BrakesA slightly more forward brake bias will help slow the car into the heavier braking zones.
TyresRear tyre pressures are the limiting factor at Bahrain, so prioritise keeping them down by limiting wheelspin.

The best race strategy around Bahrain in F1 25

For a 50% distance race at the Bahrain Grand Prix in F1 25, the optimal strategy typically revolves around managing rear tyre wear, maximising the undercut during the pit sequence.

Recommended Strategy: Soft → Hard (One-Stop)

  • Start on: Soft tyres
  • Pit around: Lap 10 (depending on tyre wear)
  • Switch to: Hard tyres for the second stint

You can reverse this strategy by starting on the hard tyres and pitting around lap 20. The soft tyres offer good amount of pace at the start of the race, while the hard tyres comfortably go to the end without risking tyre overheating.
