The new generation of WRC game is upon us with the launch of EA Sports WRC (not the catchiest of names). This new rally game will be the official WRC game moving forward, with the license being taken over from previous developer Kylotonn.
With this first game in the new WRC franchise, there are a lot of new features and improvements that have been implemented. We have the new builder mode which looks to be an in-depth form of career mode. You’ll be able to build your own custom WRC car from the ground up for the first time, with a wide range of mechanical, interior and exterior parts to choose from.
While the new WRC builder mode has us really excited, I wanted to look at the compatibility of racing wheels with EA Sports WRC in this guide. The complete list of compatible racing wheels has been released for all consoles including Xbox, PS5 and PC. Below are all of the racing wheels which are compatible with EA Sports WRC.
The list below includes every racing wheel that works with EA Sports WRC on PC. This is the widest compatibility list of all platforms due to PC having the highest number of compatible racing wheels.
Below are all racing wheels that will work with EA Sports WRC at launch on Xbox Series X|S consoles. This is a much shorter list than the PC wheel compatibility list above due to Xbox’s reduced compatibility with certain racing wheels.
This list includes every racing wheel that is compatible with EA Sports WRC on PlayStation 5 consoles. There are some notable omissions such as the new Fanatec ClubSport DD+ wheel. While not included, we would expect this wheel and others which aren’t included on this list to work just fine.

Yes, the Logitech G923 is compatible with the new EA Sports WRC game on PC, Xbox and PS5. You will need to ensure you have the correct console-compatible version of the Logitech G923 for your console.
It hasn’t been confirmed that the Fanatec ClubSport DD will be compatible with EA Sports WRC. This is probably because the wheel won’t have been released until after the official launch of the new WRC game. Although, Fanatec is a partner of the WRC so we would expect direct compatibility for their new Clubsport DD & DD+ wheel bases.
It is confirmed that EA Sports WRC will include VR support. However, it will only include VR compatibility on PC and not on PS5 with the PSVR2. Also, VR won’t be included at launch, instead, it will be added via a patch after the game’s release.
There aren’t any MOZA Racing wheels that are listed as compatible with the new EA Sports WRC game. However, on PC, we would expect racing wheels from MOZA to be fully compatible. You will just be required to configure your button inputs when first starting the game.
