What Is The Difference Between Pro & Regular Setups?

For some sim racing titles, we offer pro car setups alongside our regular setups. These can be found inside the car setup folder, and are often labelled with the “Pro” tag inside the file name.

Any car setup with the Pro label means that the setup is designed for ultimate speed. These setups can be more aggressive than our regular setups, leading to some additional oversteer or instability.

On occasions, Pro setups can result in more understeer, as they require a highly skilled driver to get the car to rotate correctly into corners.

Pro car setups for titles such as ACC, LMU and AMS2 can be trickier to extract performance from, and are targeted towards incredibly skilled drivers.

We’d highly recommend everyone trying these setups, however, they are best suited to drivers of high skill levels.

Important: When we include a Pro setup in a setup package, we will always still include our traditional car setups as well. No packages (unless specifically stated) only include Pro setups.
