What Do Our AMS2 Setup File Names Mean?

Inside Automobilista 2, you will see each of our car setups has a different name, with different tags in the name. Each of these labels or tags refers to a certain condition.

Setup types explained

Below is an explanation of what each setup type means. As a rule of thumb, always use the highest version number setup, as it will be the most up-to-date.

• Pro setup (Pro)
  Any file labelled Pro is our pro setup. This is tuned to be as fast as possible, meaning it has a tendency to oversteer more than our regular setup. This is our recommended setup for skilled drivers.
• Qualifying setup (Q)
  A file labelled Q is our standard qualifying setup. This has been tuned to be fast, yet more stable than our qualifying pro setups. Ideal for sim racers who aren’t at an alien skill level.
• Race setup (R)
  Our setup files labelled R are our race setups. These are tuned for race situations, and tend to be even more stable than our qualifying setups.
• Wet setup (Wet)
  A setup file labelled W is a dedicated wet setup. These setups are designed for wet conditions.
