How To Move, Position & Resize Overlays

Every sim racer will have a different preference to how they want our Sim Racing Setups F1 overlays to look and function. We have a large number of different overlays that can be used in F1 26. Moving, hiding and resizing these overlays is an important step to setting up your F1 overlays to suit your own requirements.

All of the F1 overlays in our app can be adjusted. You can reposition any of them, anywhere on screen. You can hide or show any combination of overlays, as well as resizing each overlay individually.

Follow the steps below to learn how to move and adjust F1 overlays

  1. Open and connect the Sim Racing Setups F1 Overlay app.
  2. Edit the layout by clicking the “Edit Layout” button from the main overlay settings.
  3. When enabled, all overlays enter edit mode. You can click and drag any individual overlay to the position you want it.
  4. You can resize it by clicking and dragging any edge or corner.
  5. Also, inside the overlay settings, you can change various options for each individual overlay.
  6. Once happy, click the tick in the overlay itself, or click “Save Layout” to exit edit mode.

After editing your F1 overlays, and setting them up to your own preference, I’d recommend saving the custom layout. This will save your current configuration, allowing you to load it again at a later date. This is helpful if you accidentally change your overlays and want to change them back, or if you set up multiple layouts for different sessions in F1 26.
