All of our iRacing datapacks are designed to be easy and quick to install and start using. Use the steps below to quickly install any of our car setups.
Below is a quick reference on the locations to install the included files to. Simply copy and paste the relevant files from the datapack download into these locations.
We structure all of our iRacing datapacks following the current season. Each week we release a new datapack for all supported cars.
This means, you will be downloading ZIP files named SRS-[car name]-[week number].zip
Inside each week’s ZIP file, you will find four folder. These four folders are;
We have structured our folders in this way to mimic the folder structure inside the iRacing Documents. This makes it incredibly easy to copy and paste all files to iRacing in one step.
You can copy all four of these folders directly into the iRacing documents folder, and all setups, replays and data files will automatically be pasted into the correct sub folders.
Below is the exact process on how to quickly install any of our iRacing setups and datapacks.
In the “my account” page, you can select “my setups“. This will show all setup packs you can download. Find the iRacing setup you wish to download by using the filters, and then proceed to download it.
Next step is to unzip the downloaded ZIP file. Simply right click the file and select extract.
Click into the unzipped folder, and then copy all four folders, lapfiles, replay, setups and telemetry.
Go to this folder This PC -> Documents -> iRacing -> Setups and then paste the four folders you just copied. This will put all files into their correct subfolders.
The final step is to enjoy our setups on track. Head into a session in iRacing, then select the garage tab and finally “my setups” to locate your installed setups.
You can find the iRacing setup folder by using the path structure below.
This PC -> Documents -> iRacing -> Setups
