Telemetry SupportAnalysing your own F1 lap telemetry, as well as comparing to other drivers is at the heart of our F1 telemetry platform. It is here, in the lap telemetry page, where you can view all of your inputs, your racing line and much more data. Using this data can help you see exactly where time is being lost, and areas of the lap where you could improve.
You can access the lap telemetry page from various places in our F1 telemetry dashboard. You can access it from your recent sessions or session list by selecting a session, and then selecting a lap from that session to analyse. This will take you to that specific lap of yours.
You can also access it from the F1 track leaderboard. On the leaderboard, you can select any lap from any driver to analyse it in more detail. Simply click any lap on the leaderboard to view the telemetry.
Jumping into the lap telemetry page itself, I’m going to explain what each part of the data shows, and how to use each aspect of the telemetry to analyse your lap.

The playback bar is always accessible at the bottom of the lap telemetry page. This lets you play the lap in real-time or at a slower speed. This will play the track map, or play the pro video if one is available. You can also select any specific point of the lap to play from, or drag the white indicators on the bar to keep replaying a specific part of the lap.
At the top of the lap telemetry page, you will see the track map. By default, this will show your racing line, as well as any comparison racing line if a comparison lap is selected. The racing line map shows the exact line you took around the lap. It highlights in green where you are accelerating, and red where you are braking.
There are also helpful indicators on the map. These include ;
You can show or hide any of these indicators by selecting the filter icon in the top right of the track map.
As well as our racing line map, you can also view ERS maps, tyre wear maps and track dominance maps. Each of these shows different data including tyre wear hotspots and ERS usage throughout a lap. Track dominance shows clearly where you are faster or slower than the reference lap.
If you are viewing the telemetry of a Pro reference lap, or comparing your lap against a Pro reference lap, you will see a button at the top of the track map labelled “Pro Lap“. This indicates a hotlap video is available to view.
Selecting the Pro Lap button will replace the track map with the pro hotlap video. You can play this back in real-time, or at a reduced speed. You can skip to different parts of the video using the playback bar, or zoom into specific parts of the lap using the input charts or playback bar to keep replaying the video for a specific corner.
Below the track map you will find charts for all inputs, throttle, brake, gear, steering, tyre wear and ERS level. Each of these shows your exact inputs across each lap.
You can navigate these by zooming in and out. Do this by hovering over any chart and using your mouse wheel to zoom in or out. This lets you analyse specific corners in more detail.
Zooming into any chart will also adjust the track map and the playback bar to show that specific part of the lap in more detail. While zoomed, you can keep replaying that specific part of the lap on loop by pressing play.
You can adjust the height of any input by dragging from the bottom right of the input. This lets you make inputs smaller or larger. You can also hide any inputs you don’t wish to use by clicking on the chevron in the top right corner of each input.
If you are comparing two laps, you will see a delta comparison bar. This shows your time difference to the comparison lap across the entire lap. The delta chart makes it easy to see where you are gaining or losing lap time. Below this chart, you can also see the time gained or lost specifically for each mini sector.
When viewing any lap in detail, you will have a new sidebar which contains a range of information. This sidebar can be minimised to increase the lap telemetry data.
The lap telemetry sidebar contains the following information;
Our AI Coaching Insights are available as part of our Pro plan, and available when viewing any of your own laps. You can access the Coaching Insights by selecting any sector from the sector analysis in the left sidebar.
Clicking any sector will show the AI Coaching Insights for that particular corner. When viewing your own laps without a comparison, these insights automatically analyse your lap against our pro reference lap. If you are comparing a specific lap, the coaching insights will adjust themselves to analyse your lap against the comparison lap.
The AI coaching insights show the total time lost or gained through any corner sequence you select. They also highlight key areas where you could potentially improve. These can be broken down into specific areas; braking, minimum corners speed, throttle application, steering inputs and ERS usage.
Learn more about our AI coaching insights in our dedicated guide here.

While viewing any laps telemetry in detail, you can quickly compare it against our Pro Esports laps. You can compare the lap from various places.
