How Do Subscription Download Limits Work?
When you sign up to any of our subscription plans, you will be able to download a set amount of car setups and datapacks each month. We restrict downloads to a set number of download each month.
What are the download limits?
The following download limits apply for each type of car setup available in our subscription plans.
- iRacing setups: Unlimited downloads each month
- F1 Pro setups: Unlimited access each month
- Assetto Corsa Competizione setups: 30 individual setup downloads per month
- Le Mans Ultimate setups: 30 individual setup downloads per month
- Automobilista 2 setups: 30 individual setup downloads per month
How are downloads tracked and what counts as a download?
- Each time you download an individual car setup from the “my setups” dashboard, it will count as a single download.
- If you re-download the same car setup again, it will also count as another new download.
- Each setup download includes all setup and data files for a single car and track combination.
- Downloading any iRacing car setup will NOT count towards your download limit.
- Downloading a setup that you have purchased outside of your subscription will NOT count towards the download limit.
You can track your remaining downloads for the month from the “my setups” dashboard. You will see a download tracker on this page which increases automatically with each new download.
You can also see the renewal date for when the download allowance will refresh. This can help you plan which setups you wish to download any given week or month.
Why are there download limitations in place?
The reason for our download limits are to prevent a customer downloading our entire library of car setups in a single month and then cancelling. This would result in a customer potentially abusing our subscription pricing structure.
By enforcing download limitations for certain downloads, means customers still get fantastic value from our subscriptions each and every month. However, it also prevents the ability for any abuse and retains a fair environment for all customers.
What happens when I reach the download limit?
As soon as you reach your download limit for any month, all downloads (apart from iRacing downloads if included in your subscription) will then be hidden from your dashboard. You will no longer be able to download any more setups until the next month.
