How do I Use F1 Telemetry With F1 26?

Getting started using our F1 Telemetry platform to analyse your F1 26 laps and sessions is incredibly simple. We have designed our F1 telemetry tool to be web-based, meaning you can access it from anywhere, and from any device, and there is no need to download any apps or software.

First, log into our F1 telemetry, or create a new account for free. We recommend linking your SimRacingSetup.com account. This will link any membership plan you currently have, which is required if you are using the Pro version of our telemetry.

Account types

If you are using a free account, you can access telemetry data for your most recent session, limited to the most recent 5 laps. You can unlock all Pro features with an F1 telemetry membership or Pro membership.

Configure our F1 telemetry to receive F1 26 data

With your account created and logged in, you should head into your F1 26 game. Follow the steps below to configure your telemetry to be sent to our platform.

  1. View your unique IP and UDP port. These are displayed at the top of your telemetry dashboard, and in your settings page.
  2. Change your in-game telemetry settings from the F1 26 settings screen to match the IP, UDP port and UDP format shown on your telemetry dashboard.
    • Ensure you have telemetry enabled in-game, and the IP, UDP port and format all match.
    • With this configured in-game, your telemetry will be automatically recorded in our F1 telemetry tool, even when our telemetry website is not open.
  3. Start any session in F1 26, complete at least one lap. You will then see that lap in our F1 telemetry tool, ready to be analysed.

How to view telemetry data

After you have connected using the steps above, you should put in a few laps in any game mode in F1 26. With a couple of laps under your belt, you can head into our F1 telemetry platform, and start to analyse your data.

From either your dashboard, or the sessions page, you will see any sessions you have driven in F1 26. Select any session to view the laps you completed. You can see a variety of session information in this page, including finishing positions if you completed the session.

Scroll down and you will see your lap list. This is a list of every lap you completed during the session. Select any lap to view the telemetry in more detail.

Analysing lap telemetry

On the lap telemetry page you will be able to see all inputs across the entire lap. You can analyse your racing line, the ERS and tyre wear data, and a lot more.

To compare your lap against any other driver, either select the “Compare” button or click “Compare” next to any drivers name on the leaderboard in the sidebar. This will overlay a reference lap across all elements on the lap telemetry page. You will see the comparison driver’s inputs and racing line for reference, as well as delta to see where you were faster or slower.

You can also get AI coaching by using our F1 26 AI insights tool. This is available when selecting any sector from the sidebar. You will see a selection of insights detailing how you could improve during that corner or sector.
