Can I Use Assetto Corsa Competizione Car Setups on Console?

Yes, you can use any of our Assetto Corsa Competizione car setups on console. Both the console version of ACC and the PC version are fundamentally the same, meaning all car setups can be used on both versions.

When you purchase or download an ACC car setup, you will receive a series of .JSON car setup files for your chosen car and tracks. On PC, these files can be directly installed to ACC, making it incredibly fast to load the setups into your game.

If you are racing ACC on an Xbox or PlayStation console, you can still use our ACC setups. However, you cannot install the JSON setup files directly. Instead, you will need to open the setup files in a setup reader to view the values. Then copy those values into your game.

This process of using the car setups is longer compared to PC, however, it is a restriction of the game on console that all setup creators are stuck with unfortunately.

How to use an ACC setup on console

To view the car setup file for use on an Xbox or PlayStation console, follow the steps below.

1. Download the ACC setup from our website
   • Just like with using the setups on PC, visit the “my setups” page of your dashboard and use the filters and search bar to find the setup you wish to download. Then click the download button to download it to your PC.
   • Unzip the file into its own folder.
2. View the car setup using our setup viewer
   • To see the contents of any ACC car setup, visit our ACC setup viewer. Then click the upload button and select the setup you wish to view.
   • Important: You need to select the unzipped JSON file to view the setup, not the ZIP file.
3. Copy the setup values into ACC
   • With the setup loaded into our setup viewer, head into your ACC game on your Xbox or PlayStation. Load a session and head into the garage screen.
   • Then copy all of the values that are shown on our ACC setup viewer into your game.
   • Save the setup once you have copied all values to reuse it at a later date.
