The Best F1 26 Setups For The F1 2026 Season Pack DLC
F1 26 has come in the form of a premium DLC add on to the base F1 25 game, named the F1 2026 Season Pack. This was so EA Sports and Codemasters could focus on revamping the next F1 game (F1 27), with all new handling, physics and more.
The F1 2026 Season DLC did bring reworked handling to the game due to the 2026 Formula 1 cars being different to those that were raced last year. This means F1 26 does require all new car setups to put in the fastest lap times.
Can I use the F1 25 setups?
Due to the new regulations in 2026, the cars in the F1 2026 season update do behave differently compared to the F1 25 cars. This means to extract maximum performance, updated 2026 car setups are required, and we don’t really recommend using the setups from last year with an F1 26 car.
The new 2026 F1 cars have much less downforce and a heavy reliance on electrical power. This makes them more difficult to control through corners, with more energy and ERS management required throughout a lap and a race.

Are there free F1 26 setups to use?
We have a range of free F1 26 setups for each circuit. These setups are created by ourselves, along with community setups from your favourite content creators and community members.
Access our free F1 26 car setups by selecting a track above. You will then be able to see every free setup available, along with the lap time set by the content creator, and the setup’s overall rating.
Can I upload my own F1 26 setup?
You absolutely can upload your own car setups! Other racers can then use your setup, rate it and provide feedback. To upload your own setup, head over to our setup upload page. There you will find an easy to complete setup form to fill out, sharing each aspect of your car setup, along with the weather conditions used to create it, and the car you used.
Once published, your setup will be immediately visible on our website, and other sim racers will be able to use your setup in F1 26. You will be notified when someone leaves feedback or a comment, allowing you to respond and discuss your setup further.

Should I use a free setup or the Pro setups?
Our free F1 26 setups are designed to be an improvement over the baseline presets included in the game. They are better optimised to each track, allowing you to lap faster and more consistently.
Our pro setups are created by the fastest sim racers, and are designed for ultimate pace. These are ideal if you are outperforming the free setups, or racing competitively in a league or against the AI at a high AI difficulty setting.
Are there F1 26 setups for every track?
Yes, we have both free and pro F1 26 setups available for every track in the game. This includes the new Madrid circuit, with a range of car setups ready for the Madring.
Are these setups the same as on the Sim Racing Setups YouTube channel?
All of our setups found on our YouTube channel are also published on our website. You will find these setups in the recommended tab at the top of every page.
Are these setups for time trial, race or career mode?
Each of our F1 26 setups have a tag which lets you know which game mode they were created in. You will see if they are a race, qualifying or time trial setup.
Can I use F1 25 setups in the F1 2026 Season Pack?
We wouldn’t recommend it. The 2026 Formula 1 cars handle differently to the 25 cars, due to the change in regulation. This means new setups are required to extract the best performance from them. I’d highly recommend using our dedicated F1 2026 Season Pack setups for the 26 cars.
