F1 24 Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari Track Guide

Imola is an incredibly fun circuit in F1 24. Due to the varying corners and sectors throughout a lap of the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari track, it is often considered a complete test of a car.

In F1 24, Imola tests your car in various ways. There is a very long straight that will test your car’s top speed. You have a mixture of fast corners, medium-speed chicanes, and a few slower turns. Imola is very technical and has many elevation changes. Combine all of these elements, and you have a track that keeps you on your toes.

How to master the tricky turns 11, 12 and 13 at Imola

The corner sequence of turns 11, 12 and 13 are often seen as the toughest corners at Imola and one of the harder corner sequences of any track in F1 24. Turn 11 is a downhill right-hand turn that can be taken at extremely high speed. You will be braking whilst starting to turn right in towards turn 12.

There is then a short straight section where you will be continuing to brake into the slow and tight turn 12. Finally, the corner exit out of 12 and through turn 13 is a good test of your transmission setup, as it can be easy to wheel spin as you accelerate hard.

How to create the best Imola car setup in F1 24?

Imola is a complete test of your car, so a balanced car setup is the best option for mastering this track in F1 24. Starting with your aerodynamic setup, keep things balanced with the front wing aero set higher than the rear. This offset will promote good responsiveness and turn in which can help eliminate understeer.

There are a few slower corners around Imola where traction can be an issue. Turns 7, 12 and 15, in particular, are very slow and are areas of the track where you are likely to wheelspin. Try to combat this and reduce wheel spin by lowering your on-throttle differential setup. Keeping it pretty low will help you accelerate harder without breaking traction.

The suspension setup should be balanced, much like our front and rear wing angles. A stiffer front suspension will help keep your car on its toes and allow it to respond quickly as you apply steering input. Lowering the rear suspension will make your car softer, which can help keep it stable through the faster corners.

Reducing the tyre pressures close to their minimum pressures will also help reduce wheel spin out of the slower corners. This approach can also help your race strategy by prolonging the tyre life for a full race distance.

Race strategy

A race around Imola can be full of drama and excitement, and the race can often be a wet Grand Prix. The circuit has a challenging layout. However, the corners aren’t too high-speed, meaning tyre wear is average throughout a full race distance.

A good race strategy for Imola in F1 24 would be a two-stop strategy, although you could get away with a single stop depending on which tyres you choose. Using the medium and hard tyres can lead to just a single pit stop across a complete race distance.

Adjusting your Imola car setup to include lower tyre pressures can help execute a one-stop strategy, as it will reduce tyre temperature buildup and wear.

What is the best car setup for Imola in F1 24?

A good car setup for Imola will be balanced and prioritise stability and driveability. Keep your aerodynamic setup and suspension stiffness fairly balanced, and lower your tyre pressures to help with traction.

How can I convert my Imola setup into a wet car setup?

Imola can sometimes experience rain during a race weekend. If this happens, increase your front and rear aerodynamic setup, lower your tyre pressures, and increase your ride height. All of these changes will help improve stability and grip during wet conditions.

What is a good lap time around Imola in F1 24?

The fastest F1 24 time trial lap times at Imola are around 1:13.200. A good lap time is anything faster than 1:16.000, as this will get you close to the AI lap times at 100% difficulty.
