The Mercedes-AMG GT3 is one of the most popular cars to race with in Assetto Corsa Competizione. That is down to the predictable nature of it’s handling. And the fact that it can regularly be one of the fastest cars around any circuit.
One of the Mercedes-AMG’s best qualities is the pure amount of power it has. The engine is extremely powerful and can output an insane amount of torque. This is also one of its weaknesses, as in slower traction zones it can struggle to get its power down.
When setup correctly the AMG GT3 is extremely stable under braking, and is a great car for beginners as it has a tendency to understeer. This does mean it struggles to get turned in to slower corners, but it gives drivers extreme confidence when learning the limits.
