BMW M6 GT3 Car Setups

The BMW M6 GT3 car in Assetto Corsa Competizione is a bit of an enigma. You wont often find drivers picking this car as one of their favourites, and that comes down to the way the preset setups are.

Even using the aggressive preset setup, the BMW M6 still feels rather soft and safe. That’s partially due to the spring softness, which is set very soft. With this setup, the nose dips a lot of deceleration, making it a little unwieldy in to corners.

As well generally stiffening the car, you should look to decrease the brake bias down. This will really help minimise your braking distance which is another area where the BMW isn’t overly competitive.

Where this car does shine is in its straight line speed. Like it’s German brother, the Mercedes-AMG, the BMW M6 thrives on tracks such as Monza where straight line speed is crucial.

The BMW M6 is one of the cars that benefits greatly from a good car setup. Try using our setups above to help bring down those lap times.
