The Audi R8, much like the smaller, lighter Alpine really shines with its mid corner speed. The R8 GT4 stays very balanced and flat through mid to fast speed corners, allowing you to post some quick lap times.
One area where the Audi isn’t as strong is under braking. This is inherent in the GT3 model as well, and it seems the Audi R8’s in ACC all just struggle a little for braking performance.
Despite its lack of braking performance, this shouldn’t be enough to put you off from driving it. Its strong through almost every other part of the lap, including good power from its engine.
