Simucube is one of the market leading premium sim racing brands thanks to its widely-loved direct drive wheel bases, and the incredible ActivePedal Pro and Ultimate. If you’ve ever sim raced with Simucube hardware, you’ll know just why they are considered one of the very best high-end sim racing brands.
This reputation for creating extremely high performing, premium hardware does come with one downside. That is the price. Simucube products are generally much more expensive than other alternatives from third-party brands.
However, there is a way to buy a Simucube wheel base at a discounted price. That is by utilising the bundles that Simucube offer on its website. Here is a quick guide on how to save money when shopping for a Simucube wheel.
Simucube doesn’t just sell wheel bases and pedals. They also have a range of steering wheels as well as partnerships with other popular sim racing brands such as GSI and Ascher Racing.
To offer a saving to customers, Simucube has created a range of sim racing bundles that all include a wheel base and a steering wheel. These bundles also include a nice discount, and can be a good way of saving some money when buying a new racing wheel.
There are a range of first-party and third-party racing wheel bundles available. The first-party bundles include a Simucube wheel base and a Simucube steering wheel. While the third-party bundles pair a Simucube wheel base with a third-party wheel.
Below are all of the third-party Simucube bundles currently available. The price and discount vary depending on which wheel base you select. Below I have shown the lowest and most expensive prices for each bundle.

All first and third-party Simucube wheel bundles include everything you need from a complete racing wheel. You get the Simucube wheel base of choice, which is responsible for creating force feedback. You also get your chosen steering wheel rim.
Then you get a Simucube Quick Release which forms the connection between your steering wheel and wheel base. All of the steering wheels come with the Simucube QR pre-installed, including the third-party GSI and Ascher Racing wheels. This means you won’t need to assembly any part of the bundle. Simply mount it to your sim rig, attach your wheel to the base via the quick release, and you are ready to race.
There is an exception to what is included with the Valo GT-23 also including the Simucube Link Hub. This allows the steering wheel to connect to the wheel base.
All of the Simucube wheel bundles offer discounts of over €100 compared to the full price of all items included. The biggest discounts available are on the GSI bundles as well as the Valo GT-23 bundle.
You’ll find that choosing an Ultimate wheel base will also result in a higher discount value compared to choosing a Sport or Pro wheel base. The biggest discount available from any of the Simucube bundles is with the GSI FPE v2 bundle. This particular racing wheel bundle includes a large saving of €515.
If you wish to create your own Simucube bundle, you can! Simucube has a bundle builder on its website allowing you to select items step-by-step to create your own persoanlised sim racing bundle.
You start by selecting any of the bundles above as a starting point. You can then choose to add accessories, pedals and more to your bundle. When creating a bundle in this way, you can gain access to some other discounts, including an €82 discount on the Simucube Link Hub and a small discount on certain connector accessories.
To get any of these bundles, the Simucube website is the best place. The discounts and savings that I’ve spoken about are all available only from Simucube. Various resellers of Simucube offer different bundles to the ones in this buyer’s guide.

Simucube has a range of different racing wheel bundles. The only way to create a bundle with pedals included is to create your own bundle using Simucube’s bundle builder. This way you can add an ActivePedal or Simucube Throttle to your bundle and still qualify for the racing wheel bundle discount.
Some bundles, namely the Tahko GT-21 bundles don’t offer the option for an Ultimate wheel base bundle. Instead, you can opt for a Sport or Pro wheel base with either of these bundles.
Simucube’s website only stocks GSI and Ascher Racing steering wheels as well as their own brand wheels. Other resellers do offer custom Simucube bundles which are paired with third-party steering wheels, although these aren’t dictated by Simucube themselves.
