How much does the SIMAGIC Alpha Evo cost?

SIMAGIC is often known for bridging the gap between performance and value. These three new wheelbases follow this trend with their ultra-competitive pricing. The Sport racing wheel variant starts from $399, and aims directly at MOZA in terms of price to performance ratio.

The most premium and most powerful option is the Alpha Evo Pro. This racing wheel base is priced at $699, which is a fair bit cheaper than competitors like the Fanatec ClubSport DD+.

Features and design

This new SIMAGIC Alpha Evo wheel base improves on the older Alpha wheel in many ways. The first, and most obvious improvement, is the design. This wheel base looks much sleeker and more modern than the original boxey wheel base.

There is a customisable RGB light ring at the front of the wheel which can be used to display telemetry and flag lights. This light ring is integral to the SIMAGIC Evo’s design identity, and it sets this wheel apart from other brands on the market.

Internally, the whole motor and force feedback algorithm has also seen improvements. The new Ultra-Low Inertia Servo Motor, and SIMAGIC’s “zero cogging” technology makes for an incredibly smooth experience on track.

During my first laps on track with this Evo wheel, I instantly noticed an improvement to the smoothness of the force feedback. The details feel crisp, and the rotation of the wheel itself is ultra smooth, putting it up there with Simucube and Asetek levels of smooth.
