At CES 2026, Pimax unveiled its next-generation PCVR headsets, including the Crystal Super Micro-OLED, Dream Air, and Dream Air SE. These headsets feature cutting-edge micro-OLED displays and Pancake optics technology, further solidifying Pimax’s leadership in ultra-high-resolution.

Pimax Crystal Super OLED: Ultra-High Resolution with True Black Performance

The Crystal Super is Pimax’s flagship headset, featuring:

  • 4K Sony micro-OLED panels per eye
  • 116°HFOV for a broad view.
  • Up to 90HZ refresh rate provides smooth gameplay.
  • Automatically adjustable IPD (58-72mm).
  • MicroOLED screens deliver vibrant, true-to-life colors.
  • Foveated Rendering: Dynamic foveated rendering.

Its ConcaveView lenses ensure crystal-clear visuals across the entire display, making it ideal for sim racing, with exceptional instrument readability and track visibility.

We recently reviewed the Crystal Super 50PPD VR headset, where we praised its clarity and immersion. A review of Crystal Super OLED will be available shortly.

Dream Air and Dream Air SE: Accessible High-Performance VR

The Dream Air shares the same optical system as the Crystal Super, while the Dream Air SE provides a more budget-friendly option. Both headsets:

  • ConcaveView lenses
  • Advanced Interaction: Eye-tracking with auto-IPD adjustment and Dynamic Foveated Rendering
  • 6DoF Tracking: Support for either SLAM tracking or Lighthouse tracking
  • Full-featured PCVR: With the DisplayPort interface for visually uncompressed images from the PC.

These features make them ideal for extended sim racing sessions. Pimax headsets have consistently led in resolution, field of view, and tracking performance, making them the top choice for enthusiasts seeking the ultimate sim racing VR experience.
