Australian sim racing brand Next Level Racing has released a brand new cockpit today, and it’s an evolution of one of its most popular cockpits. The F-GT Pro takes the formula and configuration from the versatile F-GT cockpit and improves on almost every aspect.
What is the NLR F-GT Pro?
This is a cockpit that boasts a similar driving position to the original cockpit it’s based on. You can adjust the driving position from a reclined Formula position to a more upright GT driving position. Although this isn’t a new feature, the F-GT Pro improves the rigidity and design of the older cockpit.
More rigid frame
By employing a Ø50mm tubular steel frame, similar to the Trak Racer TR8 Pro, Next Level Racing has significantly improved frame stiffness. This style of tubular frame looks fantastic and sleek while improving the overall rigidity of the whole cockpit.
This improvement to the frame stiffness allows the cockpit to be able to handle more powerful direct drive wheel bases. Next Level Racing has stated that the F-GT Pro cockpit can accommodate up to 25Nm direct drive wheels.
FIA-approved cockpit
Next Level Racing has also taken this cockpit to the next level by gaining the official seal of approval from the FIA, making this an FIA-approved sim racing cockpit.

Tool free adjustments
