Next Level Racing made a huge splash with the release of the F-GT Elite sim rig a year or so ago. It quickly became one of the most popular 8020 aluminium profile sim rigs available due to its sleek design and customisability.

The only major downside of the F-GT Elite racing simulator was its high price point. Next Level Racing is looking to address that with the release of their brand new simulator, the F-GT Elite Lite and the GTElite Lite.

What is the F-GT Elite Lite?

The F-GT Elite Lite is designed to bring the high level of performance and customisation of the F-GT Elite cockpit, and lower the cost of entry.

It can be looked at as a more budget-friendly version of the F-GT Elite.

This F-GT Elite Lite cockpit is available in a variety of configurations. You can pick it up with different wheel plates, including a bottom-mounted plate or front or side-mount options. This makes it fully compatible with almost all direct drive wheel bases from brands such as Fanatec, Simucube and more.

You can also include a brand new reclining seat allowing for a customisable racing position. The original F-GT Elite cockpit came with the all-in-one ES1 racing seat. This can also be attached to the F-GT Elite Lite.

What is the GTElite Lite?

Along with the new F-GT Elite Lite sim rig, Next Level Racing has also announced the GTElite Lite sim rig. This is a slightly toned-down version of the F-GT Elite Lite.

It features the same aluminium profile layout, with a different pedal plate configuration and without the additional seat mounting brackets.

This is designed to be a slightly less hardcore version of the F-GT Elite Lite. You can still upgrade it to feature the same side-mounted seat brackets as the F-GT Elite Lite, but it is primarily designed to be used with the new ERS2 reclining seat.

These reductions also allow it to be £/$100 cheaper than the F-GT Elite Lite.

How much does the F-GT Elite Lite cost?

The F-GT Elite Lite and GTElite Lite both come in a variety of different layouts. You can pick up either sim rig with either a wheel plate of front and side mounting.
