Simucube and GSI (Gomez Sim Industries) previously partnered to produce the stunning X-29 steering wheel back in May 2023. This steering wheel was a collaboration between the two brands and was designed as a feature-packed formula-style steering wheel.
GSI are a sim racing brand known for producing incredibly high-end steering wheels. The X-29 took all of the experience and high build quality and packaged it in a more affordable steering wheel.
This partnership has now led to GSI and Simucube offering a complete racing wheel bundle. In this guide, I’ll take a look at what is included in the GSI x Simucube 2 Bundle, its price, release date and whether it is worth buying.
The GSI X-29 x Simucube 2 Bundle is a high-end sim racing product that has been put together by the two premium sim racing brands, making it more affordable to purchase two of the best high-end sim racing products.
As the name implies, it includes the GSI X-29 steering wheel and comes with either the Simucube 2 Pro or Sport. Of course, you will also receive the complete SQR Hub so that the GSI X-29 can be mounted to the wheel base. This is something that isn’t normally included with Simucube 2 Sport or Pro wheels.
There are two individual bundles that you can buy; one includes the entry-level Simucube 2 Sport wheelbase and costs $1708. The other bundle includes the more powerful Simucube 2 Pro wheel and costs an additional $162 coming in at $1870.
Both bundles offer a discount over the cost of purchasing all parts individually, saving you around $190-200.

The X-29 steering wheel is a mid-priced F1-style steering wheel created by GSI (Gomez Sim Industries). The wheel is the most affordable within the GSI product lineup costing around $700. It is packed with a wide number of inputs and features, allowing you to have maximum control over your car while racing.
The wheel itself has a diameter of 290mm, making it the perfect size for either a formula or GT steering wheel. The chassis is constructed from 6061 aluminium and includes 10 GRB LED push buttons, 2 78-way switches, and 3 rotary encoders. You can also spec it to include dual clutch paddles to execute the perfect standing start.
If you already own a Simucube 2 wheel base, you may be wondering whether you can buy the X-29 wheel individually. The good news is that you can, and you can buy the Simucube version that has the unique GSI x Simucube logo across the front. This is different to the standard X-29 wheel that is sold on GSI’s website.
