Following Fanatec’s Black Friday 2021 announcement (see all of the Fanatec Black Friday deals here) we knew that a new product announcement wasn’t far away. Fantec themselves stated on their website that a new product was coming.

Now Fanatec has dropped the curtain and unveiled this new product. But not only that, but they have also given us a lot more detail about the upcoming BMW M4 GT3 steering wheel, along with a price and a purchase date.

CSL Steering Wheel BMW

Starting with the new product announcement, Fanatec unveiled that their new steering wheel product is officially called the CSL Steering Wheel BMW. It is a variant of the existing Fanatec P1 Xbox racing wheel and is officially licensed by BMW.

It features a new design along with BMW badging and comes with a very reasonable price tag.

How much is the CSL Steering Wheel BMW?

This new BMW branded Fanatec steering wheel sits at the lower end of the Fanatec ecosystem. This means it is one of the cheapest steering wheels you can buy from the German sim racing manufacturer.

Being low cost places this steering wheel as a perfect pairing to the low-cost direct drive wheelbase, the Fanatec CSL DD.

The CSL Steering Wheel BMW will cost just €139.95 when it goes on sale.

When will this new steering wheel be available to buy?

Good news on the availability. You can place your pre-order for the CSL Steering Wheel BMW right now. Place your order on Fanatec’s official website here.

Pre-orders won’t start arriving in your hands until February 7th 2022 however, so there is a little bit of a wait.

Fanatec Podium M4 GT3

Almost at the exact same time as their new BMW CSL wheel announcement, Fanatec also revealed much more information about the upcoming premium steering wheel, the Podium M4 GT3.

This included the price which will sit at €/$1399.95.

While this may seem expensive. We do have to remember that this steering wheel has been designed and engineered to work in both a sim rig and a real-world BMW M4 race car.

The Fanatec Podium M4 GT3 will go on sale on 20th December 2021.
