Black Friday 2022 may not be here yet, but Fanatec has just announced a large reduction in the price of one of their most popular products.
The mighty Fanatec Podium Racing Wheel F1 is now available with up to a 29% discount, meaning a huge €/$500 off its original price!
The Podium Racing Wheel F1 is available to purchase now for a lower price. Unfortunately, this price isn’t a permanent reduction. Instead, there is a limited amount of stock available.
This discount allows you to get this bundle for its lowest ever price. As well as this price discount, Fanatec also announced a brand new bundle available to purchase right away. Read more about this new bundle further on in this post.
This bundle is a little bit special, as it is officially licensed by Formula 1. It features the F1 logo on the front of the wheel, which is essentially a ClubSport Formula V2.5 with a slightly unique colour scheme.
This steering wheel is paired with the Podium DD1 which is a direct drive wheel base capable of up to 20Nm of torque. This makes it one of the strongest console-compatible wheel bases on the market in 2022.
One of the best features of the Podium F1 wheel is that it is plug-and-play compatible with PlayStation 5 consoles. Simply connect it via USB to a PS4 or PS5 and it will work right away.
It is also fully compatible with PC and can be compatible with Xbox consoles if paired with an Xbox-compatible steering wheel.

Fanatec has decided to bundle the Podium Racing Wheel F1 along with a set of pedals for the first time ever. This gives sim racers a complete sim racing bundle consisting of everything you need to go racing.
The new bundle includes the full Podium Racing Wheel F1 bundle including the 20Nm direct drive wheel base and the F1 licensed steering wheel. Joining these products is the Clubsport V3 pedals.
This creates a new discounted bundle consisting of high-end sim racing equipment.
Fanatec hasn’t officially announced whether they’ll have a Black Friday sale in 2022. However, their recent announcement regarding the stock levels of the popular CSL DD and GT DD Pro wheel bases, and the reduction in the price of the Podium F1 Racing Wheel means there are already deals to be had.

The reason for this reduction in price is partially due to the lack of stock of other Fanatec products. This includes the popular CSL DD and GT DD Pro wheel bases, which are both very hard to get hold of in 2022 due to limited stock.
Fanatec said in an official post on their website;
“Because we know it will be difficult to get your hands on our entry-level bases until next year, we decided to offer the Podium Racing Wheel F1 at a reduced price for a limited time. (We would like to offer this price until the CSL DD returns, but we expect a high demand, so let’s say ‘while stocks last’.)
This price drop means that the Podium Racing Wheel F1 is now one of the great bargains in sim racing. It remains the most powerful direct drive system for PlayStation (4 and 5) at 20 Nm. It’s a great choice for PC users as well, and can be used on Xbox if combined with one of our Xbox-licensed steering wheels. I can assure you that the Podium Racing Wheel F1 will be supported for years to come by the Fanatec ecosystem.”
