If it feels like years since Fanatec first unveiled the Podium Bentley GT3 Steering Wheel, that is because it was. The stunning Bentley wheel with a rotating central screen was first unveiled back in 2021. Now, over 3 years later, you can finally buy the premium Bentley GT3 wheel. Here are all of the details that you need to know.

What is the Fanatec Podium Bentley GT3 Steering Wheel?

To give it its official name, the Fanatec Podium Steering Wheel Bentley GT3 is a real-world steering wheel that was used in the Bentley Continental GT3 Pikes Peak car. Much like the BMW GT3 wheel rim, this Bentley GT3 wheel was developed to be used in both real-world race cars and with a Fanatec wheel base.

At the heart of the wheel is a screen equipped with a gyro, allowing it to stay upright even when turning the steering wheel. This may sound familiar if you own or have seen the MOZA Racing Vision GS wheel.

This steering wheel is one of the most premium sim racing wheels you can buy due to its integration with the real-world Bentley Continental GT3 car. This premium quality echoes across the wheel thanks to the high-quality materials used.

At its core is a magnesium chassis with a 5mm thick carbon fibre face plate that utilises a custom Bentley green weave. The hand grips are wrapped in real Alcantara, and many of the inputs are made of metal.

How much does it cost?

There is no escaping that this Bentley GT3 steering wheel is about as premium as they come. After all, it is designed to be a real-world race car steering wheel.

The price of the Podium Steering Wheel Bentley GT3 is €1,999.95 or $1999.95

When is the Bentley GT3 Podium wheel available to buy?

Fanatec revealed during the ADAC Sim Racing Expo 2024 weekend that the Podium Steering Wheel Bentley GT3 was available to buy immediately from their webshop.

You’ll find the wheel available in all regions with a shipping estimate of 4-7 days. Being such a premium sim racing wheel, we wouldn’t expect them to sell out overly fast, meaning you shouldn’t be too concerned about the steering wheel going out of stock.

A premium clock

Fanatec has introduced a strange feature with this steering wheel: it can be used as a clock when attached to the included stand. While this sounds pretty left field, no one can sim race at all times during the day. When you aren’t using the Bentley GT3 wheel on your sim rig, displaying it on your desk or table allows you to really maximise the value you get from this premium product.

If you fancy a little research, you can also access telemetry data and videos from some of the most famous circuits in the world, letting you buff up on your knowledge ahead of a big race.
