Asetek is a sim racing brand that has risen from a CPU cooling brand into one of the best sim racing manufacturers. Its range of high-end direct drive racing wheels and incredible steering wheels and pedals has made it an instant hit with many sim racers.
In this buyer’s guide, I’m going to show you every sim racing game that is compatible with Asetek’s lineup of wheel bases, including the La Prima, Forte and Invicta bases.
Asetek compatibility
Asetek is a much newer brand than some others, meaning they have a slight disadvantage when it comes to game compatibility. A lot of sim racing titles that are over a few years old do not support Asetek wheels directly due to them being released before any Asetek hardware.
However, with Asetek using DirectInput API, you can configure their racing wheels and pedals to be compatible with most sim racing titles with a little bit of work.

Does Forza Horizon 5 work with Asetek wheel bases?
You can get Forza Horizon 5 and other Forza games to work with an Asetek wheel. You have to select a custom controller layout and assign all of the inputs yourself. However, you may not be able to get the LED rev lights on your Asetek wheel working with Forza.
Are Asetek wheels Xbox or PlayStation compatible?
Currently, Asetek wheels and pedals are only compatible with PC, with no console support. However, Asetek has stated that they’re planning on release console compatible sim racing hardware during 2025.
