Despite my day to day gaming schedule normally involving entirely sim racing platforms. I have to say I’ve been thoroughly enjoying taking some time out to play through Cyberpunk 2077.
My time with the game became even more enjoyable when I learned that you could acquire a fully licensed Porsche 911 Turbo. To be precise, this is a 1975 Porsche 930 911 Turbo, and in game it belongs to the legendary character Johnny Silverhand.
This is a legendary vehicle which sports a custom Samurai livery, which was Johnny Silverhand’s band in Cyberpunk lore. You will notice a few mods to this classic German car to bring it in line with the Cyberpunk aesthetic.
However the Cyberpunk 2077 Porsche 911 Turbo is one of the fastest sports cars in the game, and it handles very well. I was very impressed with how well this Porsche handled in game! And this is a car you should definitely get for your garage.
Once you find this vehicle you can keep it in your garage and call on the car at any point in the game.
To find the Porsche 911 in Cyberpunk 2077, you have to ensure you have played through the story a fair way. Unlocking this vehicle is based around a mission reward, and isn’t a car you can just stumble upon.
We found that the mission takes place around the midway point of the game, and is part of a quest line called “Chippin In”.
Without giving away too many spoilers for this mission, all I will say is that during the mission you will start interrogating a character called Grayson. You will be presented with an option to spare his life, or do quite the opposite.
Just make sure you decide to put your gun away and spare Grayson, otherwise you will be locked out of getting the Porsche for good.
Once you have spared Grayson, you will then be rewarded with the infamous Porsche 911 Turbo. From this point on you can store the car in your garage, and use it throughout the rest of the game.
You unlock the quest Chippin In to unlock the Porsche 911 around halfway through the main storyline.
The mission Chippin In is a side quest, and can therefore be missed. Unlocking the Porsche 911 is also tied to an in-game decision. If you select the wrong dialogue you can also lock yourself out of unlocking the Porsche.
The Porsche 911 Turbo is the only real-world car in the game. There is also a custom ARCH motorcycle in the game, which is Keanu Reeves real-world motorcycle company.
Once you unlock the Porsche 911 Turbo in-game, you can store it in your garage and call on it at any point, just like other cars you buy.
The Porsche 911 is a free mission reward for the side quest Chippin In. You cannot buy the car any other way.
