It is rarely even a debate, that Daniel Ricciardo, the Honey Badger, had the best helmet design on the Formula 1 grid during the 2019 season.
During the Red Bull days, Daniel had to adhere to strict helmet design rules. As part of his design, he had to incorporate all of the F1 team’s sponsorship and branding. Following Ricciardo’s move from Red Bull to Renault in 2019, Daniel had a lot more creative freedom when it came to his helmet design.
This new found freedom didn’t go to waste. In 2019 Daniel and his team produced a daring pink, blue and green helmet design. Emblazoned with the phrase “Stop Being Them“, Ricciardo’s 2019 helmet design was a piece of art. The 2019 “stop being them” helmet design itself has now been re-created by a fan (No-Flash-Photography), and turned in to a stunning F1 wallpaper design.
Daniel Ricciardo has made his name for daring overtakes, and being one of the most like-able F1 drivers on the grid. These two factors alone mean he is one of the most popular F1 drivers of recent years. It is no surprise that many fans would want to showcase their love for the Australian Formula 1 driver.
