Thrustmaster has one of the largest sim racing wheel ecosystems of any brand. They are also one of the few sim racing brands that sells an official Formula 1 steering wheel. The incredible SF1000 steering wheel is an exact replica of the Ferrari steering wheel used by Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel.
There is a big lineup of Thrustmaster racing wheels to choose from, and all current wheels are compatible with F1 24. Each wheel has its own compatibility across all three main platforms, Xbox, PS5 and PC.
This guide will show you our recommended Thrustmaster wheel settings for F1 24 on all consoles and platforms for popular Thrustmaster wheels such as the T248, T818 and more.
Out of the box, most Thrustmaster racing wheels will work in F1 24 and have a pre-configured preset. However, the preset included in F1 24 hasn’t been optimised for Thrustmaster wheels directly. Instead, the settings are generic across all racing wheels.
This means that we can significantly improve the feel of the force feedback that F1 24 produces by updating and tweaking the wheel settings. I highly recommend updating the in-game settings, as you can introduce a much better feel over certain track surfaces, and the force feedback can become much more involved.
If you are racing F1 24 on PC, you can also use the Thrustmaster Control Panel to change the settings for your racing wheel directly. Again, I would recommend doing this as it gives us more control over how the Formula 1 cars in F1 24 feel.
The Thrustmaster T128 and T248 are among the most popular racing wheels the American sim racing brand sells. They are both relatively affordable and among the best racing wheels you can buy on a budget.
Below are our recommended F1 24 wheel settings for both wheels, along with recommendations for the wheel settings, which can be changed via the built-in screen or the Thrustmaster Control Panel on PC.
The wheel settings below are split into three categories.

The T818 is the first direct drive racing wheel that Thrustmaster has produced. It is a mid-range direct drive wheel capable of producing up to 10Nm of peak torque. Thrustmaster partnered with the Ferrari Formula 1 team to produce a Ferrari bundle that includes the SF1000 steering wheel used in the 2020 SF1000 Ferrari F1 car.
Below are our recommended wheel settings that help get the best performance from this direct drive wheel in F1 24.

The Thrustmaster TX and T300RS are the previous generation of racing wheels, preceding the T248 and T828 generation. They were both released in 2014, making them around ten years old.
Despite this, both of these racing wheels remain among the most popular sim racing wheels due to their great price, availability, performance, and compatibility. The T300RS is a PlayStation and PC-compatible wheel, while the TX is almost identical but configured to be compatible with Xbox consoles and PCs.
The TX and T300RS are both supported in F1 24 and compatible on their respective platforms. Below are our recommended wheel settings for both wheels.

Like the popular T300RS, the TMX and T150 racing wheels are also older-generation products. They were also released around the same time, a year later, in 2015. Both racing wheels were designed to be compatible with a specific console. The TMX is an Xbox-compatible racing wheel, while the T150RS is PlayStation and PC-compatible.

Rounding out our recommended settings for Thrustmaster’s older generation of wheels, we have our settings for the TS-PC, T-GT II and TS-XW. Each of these wheels was released around 2016, and each wheel has very specific compatibility with different platforms.
The TS-PC is a PC-only racing wheel. The TS-XW is Xbox and PC compatible. The T-GT II is compatible with PS4 and PS5 consoles and PCs. These racing wheels were designed to be premium wheels offering the best belt-driven force feedback.

Changing your wheel settings is a very quick and easy thing to do. You should look to do this when you first start F1 24 with your Thrustmaster wheel attached. You can check that your racing wheel and pedals are both working in the game and tweak some settings using our recommendations above.
Below is a quick step-by-step guide on how to change your Thrustmaster wheel settings.
First, start by connecting your racing wheel and pedals to your platform of choice. Ensure the wheel is turned on and mounted to a desk, table or sim racing cockpit so it doesn’t move.
If you are using a PC, I would recommend checking that your racing wheel is up-to-date. Do this by installing the Thrustmaster Control Panel, which can be downloaded for free from Thrustmaster’s website. Once installed, this will allow you to check and update your racing wheel’s firmware.
With the wheel up to date and working, change the wheel settings directly using the Thrustmaster Control Panel if you re connected to a PC. Alternatively, some racing wheels include a screen that lets you adjust some settings on the wheel itself. Use our recommended settings above as a good starting point.
Next, start up F1 24 and head into the controller and wheel settings. You should be able to perform a button test from this menu. Start this and press all inputs on your racing wheel. They should be displayed on screen as you push each input. This shows that your racing wheel is working.
The final step is to start F1 24 and update your calibration and force feedback wheel settings in-game. Again, use our recommendations for your racing wheel above.
Thrustmaster has a range of different racing wheels that are specifically designed to be compatible across different console platforms. This can sometimes make it a little tricky when trying to purchase the best racing wheel for F1 24 on either Xbox, PS5 or PC.
Below is a table showing each of Thrustmaster’s racing wheels along with which console or platform each one is compatible with.

All Thrustmaster racing wheels are compatible with F1 24, as long as you pair the right wheel with the console that it is compatible with. For example, the TX and T300RS are both nearly identical. However, the TX is compatible with Xbox, whilst the T300RS is compatible with PlayStation.
The SF1000 steering wheel which is a replica of the wheel in the Ferrari Formula 1 car can be used with the following wheel bases: T818, TS-XW, T-GT, T300, TX and TS-PC
You may need to update your racing wheel’s firmware for it to become compatible with F1 24. Sometimes new firmware and drivers can solve some incompatibility issues, and will help your wheel work with newer games.
