F1 23 is widely supported by most racing wheel brands, meaning the majority of racing wheels and controllers will work in F1 23. For a complete list of every F1 23 compatible racing wheel, read our complete list below for each console.
The Formula 1 series of games are widely played across all platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation and PC. With such a wide player base, there will be a lot of sim racers using different racing wheels and peripherals in F1 23.
Below is a complete list of every F1 23 compatible racing wheel and controller. I’ve broken the list down into individual console lists, meaning you can quickly scroll to your console and check that your racing wheel will work.
It is important to note, that this list isn’t yet confirmed by EA Sports or Codemasters, and is based on which racing wheels worked on last year’s F1 game.

Below you will find every compatible racing wheel that will work with F1 23 on each console, Xbox, PS5, PS4 and PC. Each of these racing wheels should work and should be supported in F1 23, based on previous generations of F1 game. We’ll update this list once we get official confirmation from EA Sports of compatibility.

All of the below peripherals are additions to a racing wheel and are compatible with F1 23. These include additional shifters, motion platforms and other peripherals.
Fanatec has a good lineup of racing wheels spanning from budget-friendly direct drive wheels to more premium racing wheels.
The great news with Fanatec racing wheels is that all of them are compatible with F1 23 right out of the box. They also have good console compatibility with racing wheels which work with F1 23 on Xbox and PS5.
Fanatec’s current lineup of racing wheels include the following;
As you can see, Fanatec has brilliant Xbox compatibility with all four of their current wheel base lineup working with F1 23 on Xbox Series X, S and One. All of their wheel bases also work with PC, and the GT DD Pro is compatible with PS5 and PS4.
Fanatec’s current lineup includes the incredibly popular CSL DD and GT DD Pro wheels. Both of these racing wheels are small form-factor direct drive racing wheels, with a modular design.
Both the CSL DD and GT DD Pro can be purchased in a 5Nm peak torque variation. And they can also be upgraded to an 8Nm version with the addition of an additional Boost Kit.
This allows sim racers with differing budgets to be able to pick up a direct drive racing wheel within their own budget. And then over time, those who chose the less powerful 5Nm version have the option of upgrading to 8Nm at any point.
The Fanatec DD1 and DD2 are the two premium racing wheels, and both are F1 23 compatible on Xbox and PC. These two wheel bases produce over double the peak torque of either the CSL DD and GT DD Pro.
They are both incredible pieces of sim racing hardware and perform up among the best racing wheels available.
There are a selection of bundles available featuring all four of the wheel bases above. These bundles come paired with a steering wheel and pedals, giving you everything you need to start racing in F1 23 right away.
Logitech currently offers two main racing wheels to get you racing in F1 23.
These include the budget-friendly Logitech G923 racing wheel. This is Logitech’s entry-level racing wheel which uses gear-driven technology to produce force feedback up to a peak strength of 2.3Nm.
The second wheel available for F1 23 is the Logitech Pro Racing Wheel. This is a much more premium direct drive racing wheel capable of force up to 10Nm.
Both the G923 and the Pro Racing wheel are compatible with F1 23 on all platforms including Xbox, PS5 and PC.
Thrustmaster has a wide range of racing wheels that are compatible with F1 23 across all consoles. In fact, Thrustmaster currently has the biggest lineup of products of any sim racing company.
Their wheels span from the budget-friendly TMX and T128 through to the mid-range wheels of the T300RS and T248, up to their direct drive offering, the Thrustmaster T818.
All of these Thrustmaster racing wheels are compatible with F1 23, ensuring that whatever your budget, there is a racing wheel that will fit your requirements.
MOZA Racing currently has a selection of four racing wheels that are all compatible with F1 23. Although MOZA Racing’s wheels are currently only compatible with F1 23 on PC.
Included in MOZA Racing’s product lineup are the budget-friendly R5 direct drive wheel, which is currently the cheapest direct drive racing wheel available in 2023.
Then there is the brilliant MOZA R9 which creates up to 9Nm of peak torque and is our pick of the bunch. It is the most well-rounded racing wheel that MOZA currently offer with a great performance-to-price ratio.
Then there are the MOZA R16 and R21 which are the company’s larger direct drive racing wheels.
