Analysing your F1 26 telemetry is a huge step towards improving your lap times. However, the sheer amount of data available can make this a daunting task. Enter our AI Coaching Insights.

As part of every F1 Telemetry membership, you get access to unlimited coaching insights. These provide quick, actionable feedback on your lap, and can save a lot of time spent analysing input traces and racing lines.

In this guide, I’m going to run through how to use our Coaching Insights in our F1 Telemetry platform.

What are coaching insights?

Coaching Insights are a key feature of our F1 26 Telemetry platform, and are designed to provide the key information you need to improve, without having to manually analyse your lap. They will highlight all of the key areas at specific corners around a lap where you could improve. And they point you directly to the key parts of telemetry you should analyse further.

In a snapshot, they’ll get you to exactly where you need to look to find lap time. Allowing you to delve deeper into key areas of a lap.

How do coaching insights work?

Our coaching insights work by comparing your lap directly with our pro reference lap. Every track in F1 26 has a pro reference lap set by our Esports driver Istvan Puki. This is used as a baseline to provide feedback on your own laps via coaching insights.

However, if you would rather compare your lap against a different driver. Our coaching insights adapt and show you feedback based on your lap compared to whichever reference lap you select.

Whether you are using our Pro reference lap, or any other comparison lap from any driver in our F1 telemetry platform, our coaching insights are simple to use.

Follow the steps below to start using our F1 coaching insights

You will find all coaching insights available by selecting any corner sequence from the lap telemetry page.

1. Start by loading any of your laps from any session. This will be the lap we will get coaching feedback on.
2. In the sidebar of the lap telemetry page, you’ll see the “Sector Analysis” section. This breaks down every track into corner sequences, and provides the delta time difference between your lap and your comparison lap. Red sectors are areas where you are slower, and are the best places to start analysing.
3. Select any sector from the “Sector Analysis” section, and it will reveal coaching insights for that corner. These appear to the right of the track map or Pro video.
4. You can scroll the coaching insights to see all of the feedback for that corner, and then you can analyse the telemetry inputs and racing line in more detail to see the feedback in the data.
5. Choose any other corner sequence from the sector analysis to receive coaching insights on any part of the lap.
