Recommended Settings: Thrustmaster T128 & T248
The Thrustmaster T128 and T248 are two of the most popular racing wheels from the renowned American sim racing brand, Thrustmaster. Known for their affordability and high performance, both wheels are excellent options for sim racers looking for the best budget racing wheels compatible with F1 25.
Below, I’ve outlined the recommended F1 25 wheel settings for the Thrustmaster T128 and T248, including adjustments you can make in-game, via the built-in wheel screen (T248), and through the Thrustmaster Control Panel on PC.
I’ve broken the setup into three categories to help you configure your racing wheel correctly:
- F1 25 In-Game Wheel Settings: These are settings available directly in the F1 25 controller and wheel menu. They affect force feedback, vibration levels, and steering rotation.
- Thrustmaster Wheel Screen Settings (T248 Only): The T248 racing wheel features a built-in display where you can adjust certain settings like rotation angle (ROT), force feedback level (FORCE), and preset modes (FFB) without needing a PC.
- Thrustmaster Control Panel (PC Only): For PC users, the Thrustmaster Control Panel provides advanced configuration options. These include rotation angle, overall force feedback strength, and damper settings. While most of these settings default well for Xbox and PS5 users, PC racers may want to fine-tune them for optimal F1 25 performance.

The T818 is Thrustmaster’s first direct drive wheel, capable of 10Nm peak torque. This was followed by the smaller and cheaper T598 which also uses Thrustmaster’s own direct drive technology. For maximum control and realism, use these optimised settings in F1 25 for these two wheels:
