Jeddah is a track that despite its close walls, is actually an incredibly fast and fun circuit to drive. It challenges your precision in a similar way to Monaco and Singapore, while being a much more low downforce circuit. A responsive car is crucial for success around Jeddah, as understeer can destroy your lap time.

The approach I’ve gone down in this setup is pretty different compared to our Pro setups, which are faster car setups, aimed at extracting as much performance as possible. This setup veers on stability, while those setups will give you a complete rocket ship of a car. If you want to unlock the most amount of pace out of your car possible, I’d recommend checking out our F1 25 Pro Jeddah setup.

Aero setup

Starting with the aerodynamic setup, I have set the front wing to 9 and the rear to 7. This focus on front aero will allow the car to turn quickly when throwing the car into the fast chicanes that are throughout a lap of Jeddah.

I would have gone for a larger wing gap, however, we need a stable rear end, as it’s easy to lose the rear through turns 9 and 16 if set too low.

Transmission setup

Most of the corners are Jeddah are medium to high speed, and this lets us run the on throttle differential pretty high. I have set it to 90%, with that last 10% missing due to the slower heavy traction zones of turns 2 and 27. Then set the off throttle differential to 45% which provides a bit of help with slower speed rotation while remaining stable throughout a lap.

Suspension geometry setup

With the geometry, you’ve guessed it. I have it all set to the left once again.

Suspension setup

The suspension setup is the first time I’ve run inverted anti roll bars. I have set the front and rear suspension to 41 and 1, while the ARBs are set to 14 and 10. Then, I have the ride height at 20 and 46. This is as low as you’ll want to go, and you should avoid getting beached on the higher kerbs through turns 8, 9 and 10.

Brake setup

I have set the brake bias to 55% again for this setup. This works really well as there are some heavy braking zones. Plus having the bias more towards the front will reduce those rear tyre temperatures slightly. Set the brake pressure to 100%.

Tyre setup

Round out this setup by setting all tyre pressures to their maximum. This is designed at prolonging the tyre life, which can spike at certain parts of this circuit.

Conclusion

That will complete our Jeddah car setup for F1 25. This is an extremely fun track to drive once you hook it up just right. The tricky left-right corner sequences really test your car’s willingness to turn it while remaining stable. The biggest problem around this track,m with this setup is getting beached on the high kerbs. Doing so can really prevent you from turning and result in a lot of lap time loss.

Let me know your thoughts on this setup and how you find it during a race. Remember, this isn’t a time trial setup, and is designed specifically for races, and has been created using a racing wheel.
