Asetek F1 25 Wheel Settings

When customising the settings for any Asetek wheel, there are two main areas where you can change settings. You can change the F1 25 in-game wheel settings which affects the level of force feedback detail from different areas of the game. You can dial in the on track or off track force feedback and set the strength of each area.

You can also change core wheel settings using Asetek’s own Race Hub software. In the software, you can adjust settings such as the damping, friction and more, as well as ensuring your wheel base is running the latest firmware.

I highly recommend changing the settings in both areas for maximum performance. Below are my recommended settings for the F1 25 in-game wheel settings, followed by my recommended Race Hub settings.

Why Use Asetek Race Hub for F1 25?

Race Hub is Asetek’s own sim racing tuning software and it is one of the most intuitive sim racing apps around. It provides detailed descriptions for every setting and allows for complete control over your racing wheel’s performance, button mappings, RGB lighting, and rev lights. You can simply hover over any setting within RaceHub to learn what it does.

  • Steering Range: 390°
    This setting affects the steering lock range. F1 cars use around 360° rotation in total (180° each direction). The updated physics model in F1 25 allows a slightly increased value to improve precision while maintaining realism.
  • Bumpstop Hardness: Soft
    A softer setting creates a smoother, more natural feel at full lock. Ideal for better control during tight turns without harsh resistance.
  • Bumpstop Range: 5°
    Adds 5° of extra rotation past the steering limit. Helps soften the impact when you reach full lock without affecting handling.
  • High Frequency Limit: 3300 Hz
    Controls the frequency limit of the force feedback signal. Recommended by Asetek, this setting ensures detailed, responsive feedback.
  • Damping: 15% – 10%
    Adds steering weight and smooths out overly aggressive feedback. Recommended range gives realism without sacrificing quick responses.
  • Friction: 5% – 0%
    Simulates tyre and track surface resistance. Use 5% for La Prima, 0% for Forte and Invicta for a cleaner, more natural feel.
  • Inertia: 2 – Off
    Adds rotational weight to simulate a real steering rack. Use 1–2 for La Prima; Off is fine for Forte and Invicta due to their higher torque fidelity.
  • Cornering Force Assist: 1
    Reduces sustained force during long corners to reduce fatigue. A setting of 1 is sufficient for improved comfort during races.
  • Overall Force: 12Nm – 15Nm
    Adjusts peak force feedback strength. La Prima: 12Nm (max output) Forte & Invicta: Up to 15Nm for a more immersive experience
  • Torque Behavior Prediction: 1
    Improves feedback smoothness and predictability. Set to 1, as recommended by Asetek.
  • Torque Acceleration Limit: 6.7 Nm/ms
    La Prima: 4.0 Nm/ms, Forte: 6.7 Nm/ms, Invicta: 9.4 Nm/ms. Controls how fast the force feedback reacts to changes. Set to the max your wheel supports for best results.
  • Anti-Oscillation: 5% – 8%
    Helps reduce unwanted wheel shaking on straights. La Prima: 5%, Forte & Invicta: 8% or off if no oscillation occurs
