There have been new cars confirmed to be added to Assetto Corsa Competizione during 2024. The first batch of new cars are the GT2 cars that will be added during January 2024. Current cars confirmed to be added to ACC in 2024 are new GT2 cars from Porsche, Audi and KTM plus more.
Assetto Corsa Competizione may have been released way back in September 2018 in early access with its official launch date of May 2019. However, there has been a steady stream of new cars, new tracks and content added in the past few years since its launch.
This trend of new content continues into 2024 with new cars confirmed to be added to Assetto Corsa Competizione this year despite all the talk surrounding the upcoming AC2. In this guide, I’ll run through all of the new cars that we know will be added to ACC in 2024, as well as taking a look at additional content that we may see this year.
At the time of writing, we have confirmation of two pieces of DLC that will be added to ACC during 2024. The first DLC to be confirmed for 2024 was the Nordschleife track which has been one of the most requested pieces of DLC. The 20km+ track known as the “Green Hell” is due to be added during Spring 2024, although we don’t currently have a more specific release date.
Despite the Nordschleife DLC being announced first, the first piece of DLC content that we’ll receive in ACC during 2024 is the GT2 car pack. This pack will include GT2 cars into Assetto Corsa Competizione for the first time, bringing the total number of disciplines up to 4. We already have GT3 and GT4 cars in ACC, as well as a host of cars that run in single-make series.
The Assetto Corsa Competizione GT2 pack is scheduled to be released on the 24th January 2024, and we will have six brand new cars that will be added as a part of this pack along with a new track.
Now that the GT2 car pack DLC has been launched, we know that there are six new cars in total. Some of these are evolutions of their GT3 counterparts, whilst others are brand new cars that we haven’t seen before in ACC. Below is the GT2 car list for the ACC GT2 pack.
When the GT2 pack was first teased by Kunos, there was mention of the Brabham BT62 GT2 car which isn’t a part of this GT2 car pack. The reason it isn’t being included is because the BT62 GT2 car isn’t competing in the 2024 GT2 season.
The new ACC GT2 car pack DLC was released on the 24th January 2024.
As per the normal DLC release schedule, PC sim racers will get access to the ACC GT2 car pack first before Xbox or PS5 sim racers. There is normally a delay of a few months between the PC and console DLC launches meaning console sim racers may have to wait until around March or April time to get access to these new cars and track.
However, it isn’t all bad for sim racers playing ACC on Xbox or PS5 as console crossplay has been launched already. Kunos announced in December that those racing on either Xbox or PS5 can now compete against each other seamlessly. This feature was released as soon as it was announced meaning it is currently live in game.
Once the GT2 cars have been added to Assetto Corsa Competizione, we will spend some time with them before releasing ACC GT2 car setups. The plan, however, is to add setup bundles for GT2 cars in ACC as soon as feasibly possible, so keep your eyes peeled on our ACC setups page.

As well as new cars being added to ACC in 2024, we know there is at least one new track that will launch this year. The Nordschleife is confirmed for release at some point during 2024, although an official release date hasn’t been given, only the phrase “season 2024”.
This inclusion has been made possible with the addition of the Nordschleife 24 Hours to the official 2024 Intercontinental GT Challenge calendar. We will likely see the official 24-hour layout which includes the Nurburgring track as well making a total track length of 25km.
This announcement leads us to believe that there may be a 2024 DLC pack, much like there was last year for the 2023 season. This could include a few updated cars, and new liveries alongside the launch of the Nordschleife. Below is the official teaser trailer for the Nordschleife in ACC.
During the trailer for the Nordschleife, a release date of “season 2024” was shown. This could mean that new 2024 liveries are added alongside the new track, and it could also lead to new cars being added.
The 2023 DLC pack saw three new cars being added to Assetto Corsa Competizione alongside the new Valencia track. It is a strong possibility that this will be repeated for the 2024 season with new cars being included in the new season DLC pack. Of course, this isn’t guaranteed, but has a good chance of happening if Kunos follow a similar DLC schedule to last year.
As mentioned above, the biggest hint of a new 2024 DLC pack for the GT3 cars in Assetto Corsa Competizione comes as part of the Nordschleife track teaser trailer. At the end of the trailer, it shows the words “season 2024”. This indicates that there very well could be a 2024 season pack.
During 2023, there was a 2023 GT World Challenge Pack that included the new Valencia track, three new cars and a range of new liveries for current cars. The liveries part of the 2023 pack came as a free update very similar to how new liveries were added during 2021 and 2022.
At the very least, we will likely get updated 2024 liveries being added to Assetto Corsa Competizione. However, the tease of the new Nordschleife track leads us to think that an official 2024 season pack DLC with new cars could be highly likely.
Assetto Corsa 2 has been confirmed and we have known about it for a little while now. It was originally meant to be released into early access during Spring of 2024. However, the developers of the new Assetto Corsa 2 title, Kunos, have confirmed that AC2 has been delayed until summer 2024.
This delay of AC2 to summer 2024 is partially due to the release of the new GT2 cars and the Nordschleife track into Assetto Corsa Competizione which are both scheduled to be released during the first few months of 2024.
