We have known about the new cars that are being released in the upcoming Assetto Corsa Competizione DLC on April 19th. But it has now been confirmed that we will be getting a brand new track added to ACC in the DLC as well.

That new track is the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. This track is not the street circuit that saw action in Formula 1 in the mid to late 2000s. Instead, this is the Valencia circuit that is currently in use as a Formula E circuit along with GT3 racing. Here are all of the details about this new circuit and the upcoming ACC DLC.

What is included in the upcoming ACC DLC?

The 2023 GT World Challenge DLC will include three new cars, along with a new circuit. The cars are;

  • Porsche 992 GT3 R
  • Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2
  • Ferrari 296 GT3

And the new circuit that is being added as part of this DLC is confirmed to be the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia.

This DLC is very reminiscent of the 2020 GT World Challenge Pack that was released at the end of 2020. That DLC pack featured a new track (Imola) as well as two new cars (Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo and Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo). That DLC pack also saw a brand new tyre model, changes to the BoP across all cars, all 2020 drivers and teams along with 60 new car liveries.

What else will be included in the 2023 GT World Challenge DLC pack?

While we haven’t had anything other than the new cars and tracks confirmed just yet, we wouldn’t be surprised to also see similar updates that we saw in the 2020 DLC pack.

Elements such as updated teams, drivers and liveries wouldn’t be a surprise as this DLC is named the 2023 GT World Challenge DLC.

When is the new 2023 GT World Challenge DLC pack released?

We have known for a while that this new Assetto Corsa Competizione DLC pack will be released on the 19th of April 2023. This is the release date for PC sim racers via Steam.

Currently, there has been no confirmed date for when the 2023 GT World Challenge DLC will be released on Xbox or PS5. There is normally a delay between the Steam launch and the console launch date.

Will there be any other new tracks added to ACC?

Currently, the only new track that has been confirmed for ACC is the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia. This track will be added as part of the 2023 GT World Challenge DLC, with no further tracks or DLC packs confirmed so far.

How much will the 2023 GT World Challenge DLC cost?

We haven’t had a price confirmed for this upcoming ACC DLC as of yet. However, we can guesstimate the price based on recent DLC releases.

The 2020 GT World Challenge pack which featured very similar content cost £7.99 when it was launched. While the most recent American Track Pack DLC cost £14.99.

We would expect the price to be closer to the £7.99 DLC as there is only a single track included. A safe bet would be on this DLC costing £9.99 at launch, however, this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
