How to set up a racing wheel with Assetto Corsa Evo?

AC Evo is designed to be easily used with racing wheels, meaning configuring any wheel in game is incredibly easy. Ensure your racing wheel of choice is connected to your PC and powered on, and then we can start connecting it to Assetto Corsa Evo in game.

When you start AC Evo, head into the settings menu and then into the controls menu, and you will find a variety of different controller settings that you can change. In this menu you can map your inputs on whichever racing wheel or controller you’re using.

To set up any racing wheel in Assetto Corsa Evo, follow our steps below

  1. Ensure your racing wheel is turned on and connected to your PC.

  2. Head into the settings menu in AC Evo, then choose the controls menu.

  3. Select your racing wheel from the top tabs within the controls menu.

  4. Map all inputs by selecting an input and pressing the correct button or input on your racing wheel and pedals.

  5. Change your force feedback settings.

How to map inputs on a racing wheel in Assetto Corsa Evo

  1. Head into settings, and then controls.
  2. Select your racing wheel from the top tab of the settings screen.
  3. Click on an input in the list and then select the input you wish to use.
  4. After mapping all inputs, apply the settings using the button in the bottom left corner before exiting the settings menu.

Assetto Corsa Evo supports the majority of racing wheels from popular brands. When does Assetto Corsa Evo release?

The release date for Assetto Corsa Evo is January 16th 2025. This is the date when the game first becomes available in early access. The full game release is expected around Summer 2025, and will feature much more content than is available at the launch of the early access in January.
