With the 16th January 2025 finally here, it means we have made it to the official release date for Assetto Corsa Evo. While the complete game isn’t scheduled to release until mid to late 2025, the January 16th version of AC Evo will give sim racers their first chance to hit the track with a limited selection of cars and tracks.
In this guide, I’ll look at the exact time that you can start playing Assetto Corsa Evo, and when the early access starts.
The first early access version of AC Evo releases on the 16th January 2025. This version of the game will feature just 20 cars, and a selection of five classic circuits. The final build of the game is scheduled to release around Summer of 2025, and will feature a total of around 100 cars.
The official start time for the early access build has been shown on the game’s Steam page. According to its product listing, early access starts at the following times around the world.
All of these times are for the 16th January, although you cannot purchase or pre-install AC Evo before the times above. This means, some sim racers may have to wait a few minutes or hours longer for the game to download and install.
The early access version of AC Evo includes a much smaller selection of cars and tracks than the full release that comes out later this year. There are a total of 20 cars included in the AC Evo early access, along with 5 different circuits.
Unfortunately, the much anticipated open-world feature of AC Evo won’t be available during the early access initially. It may be added before the game’s full release in an update, but on the 16th January, we won’t be able to hit the open roads just yet.

The official start time for AC Evo’s early access is 2 pm GMT/UTC, 3 pm CET, 9 am ET and 6 am PT on the 16th January 2025.
Console sim racers will be able to access Assetto Corsa Evo although not during the early access stage, with the game only releasing into early access on Steam.
