Assetto Corsa Evo is in the hands of sim racers everywhere, however, the state of the early access is a bit hit and miss. This is especially true for those using a Logitech G923 racing wheel. There are a range of different issues reported from no force feedback, to very little force feedback strength.
In this Assetto Corsa Evo Logitech G923 wheel settings guide, I’ll look at how to fix the G923 and make the force feedback feel better, not perfect, but better. A warning, these settings won’t simply make the force feedback with the G923 perfect, but they’ll make them feel as good as we can, at least as much as we can with the game in its current state.
Below is a video covering a range of issues and fixes for the Logitech G923, along with our recommended force feedback settings for the G923, G29 and G920.
The general problem for those who are using their Logitech G923 in Assetto Corsa Evo is the lack of force feedback. You will still be able to feel parts of the car and how it is reacting on track, however, a lot of the sensations feel like they are turned right down.
For example, you can feel vibrations when the tyres lock or when you lose traction, but there is very little road or surface feel. These can be fixed to a degree using our recommended Logitech G923 settings, however, we can’t completely overcome them, meaning we’re hoping Kunos release an update which corrects the G923 FFB soon.
I do have a range of fixes for some issues at the bottom of this guide which you can scroll down and see.
The settings below should be set in G Hub. This is Logitech’s software which allows sim racers to fine tune how the G923 racing wheel feels in all games. With AC Evo only being available on PC, it means everyone playing can access G Hub, which is free to download from the Logitech website.

After you have adjusted the G Hub settings for your Logitech G923 wheel, we can head in game and change the wheel settings. These can be found in the controls menu after selecting the Logitech G923 from the tabs across the top of the settings screeen.

It is worth remembering that Assetto Corsa Evo is currently in early access, meaning there will be bugs and issues. Despite this, racing wheel optimisation and functionality should be pretty high on the list of things to get right.
Since its initial early access launch, Kunos have released numerous patches, with updates coming every day or so. I would expect a patch to fix force feedback issues to arrive sooner rather than later.
Despite this there are some things we can do to try and fix the Logitech G923 and G29 force feedback now. Below are a range of problems and fixes for the Logitech G923 wheel in Assetto Corsa Evo.
Fix: Try increasing the dynamic damping or reduce the FFB gain in game.
Fix: Lowering your minimum damper and dynamic damping settings will help increase the feeling from the road slightly.
Fix: To see the FFB settings, select your racing wheel from the tabs at the top of the controls menu, and then select the “settings” menu on the right of the screen to display your force feedback settings.
