Assetto Corsa Competizione has come leaps and bounds over the past few years since its release in 2018. It has added a huge amount of content from GT2 and GT4 cars, through to extra tracks and new tyre models.
The closest that console players have been able to get to a racing simulator up until now is with the Project Cars game series. Assetto Corsa Competizione offers one of, if not the best tyre model of any racing simulator. This tyre model and super realistic physics elevate ACC to be one of the best racing simulator games you can play.
ACC is the official game of the GT World Challenge series, meaning all cars, tracks and drivers have been officially licenced. Think of ACC like the Codemasters F1 games, where every part of the real-world racing series has been replicated in game.

They have a racing wheel that is compatible with ACC on every console and platform, although some wheels only work with some consoles. They also have a huge range of steering wheels with varying compatibility.
Thrustmaster has the largest range of racing wheels of any brand mentioned in this guide. All of them are compatible with Assetto Corsa Competizione, however, some are only compatible on specific platforms. For example, their direct drive racing wheel, the T818 is a PC only racing wheel.
MOZA Racing has a range of PC-compatible racing wheels which all work perfectly with ACC on PC. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, MOZA Racing doesn’t have any Xbox or PS5-compatible racing wheels.

Logitech has great compatible with Assetto Corsa Competizione across all consoles and platforms. Its latest budget-racing wheel, the Logitech G923 is compatible on each platform. Although, make sure to buy the correct version of the wheel for your console as both the Xbox and PS5 versions of the wheel are different.
Their flagship racing wheel, the Logitech Pro Racing Wheel is also compatible with ACC on all consoles. Again, there are two versions of the Pro Racing Wheel. One that is Xbox compatible, and another which is PS5 compatible. Both versions are compatible with PC.

However, the Logitech G923 is a great budget racing wheel for ACC, and the Fanatec GT DD Pro is one of the best mid-range racing wheel.
